  • Nice and elegant piano
Color: Color Walnut Wood
I really loved this piano: its sound, the mid-century design and wood color. The MIDI and Bluetooth all worked very well connecting to devices. The sustain feature came not working though and the vendor was very responsive sending a replacement pedal - unfortunately it wasn’t the pedal and I’ll have to ask for a replacement. Still giving 5 stars after knowing how the manufacturer stands behind this product. *Update: the replacement had no issues ... show more

  • Wonderful instrument with one shortcoming
Color: Color Walnut Wood
The media could not be loaded. This electronic piano sounds almost as great as it looks... a very sleek, modern look that doesn't take up any more space than it needs and delivers a rich sound in many different tones. Assembly was fairly easy The pedals work GREAT! And they look really nice for an electric instrument, not flimsy or plasticky. The keys are weighted and responsive and provide good volume/velocity control that feels very natural to a seasoned piano player. Whether it's the speakers or the instrument itself, the piano tone does not sound as "real" as a real piano, or some top-o'-the-line electric pianos, but it is more than enough for practice, casual performance, or - as most people in our family use it - playing just for personal enjoyment. There are some pretty advanced fine-tuning controls packed into a very small control panel. The designers prioritized a natural wood look as opposed to a giant dashboard of buttons and dials like you might find on many dark-gray-plastic-bodied electronic keyboards. But some of those advanced features include tuning and transposing with high precision (especially if you need to match the tune of an acoustic instrument that would be harder to tune) and other settings for reverb, split voices, etc. While I LOVE LOVE LOVE the minimal design on the control panel, I also think that they went just a little too far with the minimalism which leads to a shortcoming in my opinion. The piano has 900+ "voices" or instruments on it. Ranging through the entire orchestral spectrum, guitars, international and eclectic instruments, tubular bells, pads, and synth-like tones, and sound effects like waves and helicopters..... the small paper instructions booklet shows you a list of all of them. It's not *really* 900 when you start exploring... many of them are redundant, and instruments in the 400's start to be named, and sound like, instruments in the 100's... and they're so hard to distinguish from each other, that I don't really consider them unique. So maybe you have a couple hundred unique sounds, and most likely you'll never use most of them except to mess around. That's fine. Here's what's NOT fine (if you ever want to use more than one sound): 1. The screen only has 3 LCD digits/letters and will NOT show you anything resembling the name of the instrument. You need to refer to the paper booklet, and they're spread out across multiple pages, along with other instructions and troubleshooting. NOT ideal. 2. You can't type in the number of a desired instrument. Only +/- one at a time. So if you want to switch from Piano to some special sound in the 500's... you're gonna be pressing that button for a LONG LONG TIME. There is no number pad or numeric entry. There are also pre-made rhythms, a couple hundred of them, so... same issue if you want to switch them often. If you just want to play default piano, or maybe a different sound but stick to it most of the time, it's not too bad. But actually switching the instruments rapidly, like if you're playing a set of different songs that need different tones... it's the only thing that's difficult. Don't get me wrong. I'm nitpicking about one thing, but otherwise I'm really thrilled with this piano. I play it all the time. It's almost everything I could ever want, both design and sound wise! P.S. - in addition to instruments and rhythms, there is also a vast library of "demo" compositions of songs (a mix of famous western/American classics, some holiday songs, and some eastern/Asian songs) which are a LOT of fun to listen to at least once!! ... show more

  • Great sound and feel
Color: Color Walnut Wood
Great sounding piano with many options. The weighted keys feel great and easy to play. The piano looks nice and the included legs give it more of a furniture vibe than your typical keyboard stand. The look is nice and I love that it includes the music stand and the three pedal foot control. Most only have a single pedal. For the money the sound is great and quality is top notch. ... show more
