I bought this as part of a birthday gift for a friend. There was assembly required, but it was not hard. (I decided to assemble it before gifting it.) It's a really good size. The quality is sturdy and the paint finish is consistent and very good. I got the black as it will be used for a Halloween party. I would definitely order this again, and maybe try another color finish so it could be used for weddings.

I bought this as a Halloween decoration, meant to be in my window and look a little haunty... lol. It came in a TINY box and I feared it was much smaller than I expected. Wrong. It's about the height of the tapered candles I put in it - which is in keeping with what was on their website. This isn't a tall, gothic candelabra, but rather a smaller version that can go practically anywhere. It's very easy to assemble, didn't need to read the instructions - it's obvious. It's sturdy. It holds my flameless tapered candles but is probably better with the real deal. It has a nice feel to it, substantial. It's made of metal and the finish is very smooth and nice. Lovely little thing. I may buy a second one and use it in my day-to-day decor.

You're either love to love or hate this feature. The sockets where each candle sits (called the capital) have ridges to hold the candles in place. This will leave grooves in your taper candles, which may surprise some buyers, but it's a much better option than having to warm or melt the bottom of each candle so it stays put. It also means you don't have to be too fussy about the exact diameter of the taper candles you use. Slightly narrower candles, like the cheaper ones you might buy as a Halloween prop, will be totally fine. Note that the candelabra comes disassembled. It's super easy to assemble. To store it more compactly, you can loosen the top to take the arms off or you can position the arms narrowly so it they flat-ish.

The media could not be loaded. The packaging was the most bootleg thing I think I’ve ever seen! Some of the pieces, yes pieces, it does not come assembled, were wrapped and others were not. It was a mess to look at and then it’s not black like I thought. It’s more pewter, like a really dark shiny silver. None of the pieces were missing, scratched or damaged and assembly was very easy. The bottom is suede-ish to prevent slipping, but the edges will still be flush with the table or whatever you put the candelabra on. The bottom suede-ish piece is also like some hard cardboard so the whole thing is cheap...but hey, it was only 10 bucks so...overall it’s nice I guess. I’ll probably just spray paint it black. The candle wells are deep enough to not worry about the candles falling out. I guess someone just looking at it would never know just how cheap it is, and again, overall I’m pleased.

This is actually quite nice! I wanted it for Halloween to make it all creepy like it belonged in an old haunted house. But then it turned out that I liked it too much to put away, so I left it on the table and changed out the color candles (and took off the fake blood, spiders, and cobwebs) to make it work for different holidays. Super easy to assemble and pretty, or creepy. Whatever you feel!

Before making my purchase I read reviews on a few different candle holders and decided on this one. The major complaint I read was that they are not sturdy enough because of the length of the screws to hold them together. READ THE DIRECTIONS. The directions tell you to twist the screw 3 or 4 times, not all the way in. When you put the whole thing together the screws tighten themselves in. I purchased these for a vampire murder mystery and they will go in to my Halloween stash if not everyday. They are a lovely shade of black, a little, but not too metallic, and hold 5 taper candles with ease. They are inexpensive but in no way do they look cheap.

I ordered a similar (almost identical) item from another company and the holes on the other one were too small for the screws so they could not be assembled. That is why I ordered this one. This one was much higher quality. Easy, quick assembly. It did cost a couple of dollars more, but way worth it for the higher-quality item. In addition, this one came with assembly instructions, which the other one did not.
