I really love this line! The color is brilliant, and so it's easy to see, both in low light and direct sunlight! This is a huge benefit to me, since I'm generally working more than one line at a time (I've purchased extra licenses), and so I need to be able to see line movement easily and at Short distances. It's also great for bassin', because you can easily see the line jump out go slack when the fish takes the lure on the fall. My ONLY CAVEAT is this; it's not as supple as, say, Triline XL or the Spiderwire Ultimate Mono (let alone the various flouro or flouro-coated offerings out there), so memory is an issue on my Pflueger Presidents and Trions in the 20-25 sizes. It's not an issue on my reels larger than those. That said, it is so amazing line. Great abrasion resistance, knot strength, and of course, visibility. I just use a shock leader of 15' (along with a leader of smaller line), and I'm GTG. I've landed NUMEROUS 4-5lb bows and bass on this line, and I'm only using the 4lb line! I know that's light for bass, but I was targeting trout with spinners lol. But this line with confidence. It's great stuff! ... show more

I have been using Stren fishing line for at least fifty years and it has never let me down. It casts well, has great knot strength and is strong enough to get your fish in the boat. The break strength is greater than the pound test listed on the box. High quality line at a good price.
