Description

Designed to securely attach to the trigger guard of GLOCK 42, 43, 43X or 48 only. Using this light/laser combination on subcompact handguns allows for easier identification of potential threats before taking action. Features LED illuminator and a 640-660nm red laser. Runs 1 hour (LED only or LED/laser combo); 11 hours (laser only). Parabolic reflector produces a balance of beam and peripheral illumination; optimized electronics provide regulated intensity; red laser provides long-range targeting. All modes feature a 10 minute auto shut-off to conserve batteries. Batteries can be replaced while light remains mounted on gun; no need to re-sight laser after battery change. Uses two CR1/3N lithium batteries (included). Removable cover for easy attachment/removal. Windage and elevation adjustment screws mounted in brass bushing for dependable zero retention of laser. Contoured housing securely attaches to trigger guard. Durable, impact-resistant polymer construction; IPX4 water-resistant; 1m impact resistance tested. Operating temperatures of -20 to +120 Degree Fahrenheit. I purchased this attachment for my Glock 43. It fits like a glove and the laser and flash light work remarkably well. I initially purchased just the light attachment, but, then considered about the unfortunate event that my wife would need to point and intimidate. There is nothing that provides a sense of confidence that you will hit what your pointing at like a laser. She feels comfortable with the one touch finger application and the ease of functionality of the device. Installation of the batteries was straight forward and without complications. You're certainly not going to blind anyone with the relatively low-intensity of this flashlight, but as a combo unit (laser and light) at a decent price and able to be installed on a pocket 9mm, it's a nice package. I took one star off for the fact that it's not very bright and because it uses very unusual and hard-to-find batteries (easy to find on Amazon maybe, but not so easy to pick up at a 7-11, Walmart, or Walgreens/CVS). Because the Glock 43 9mm doesn't come with rails on the dust cover, they had to go with a clamp mount (you have to loosen three screws and then it clamps on to the trigger guard from opposite sides). This means the unit isn't coming on and off quickly (a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it). A nice bonus of the shape of this unit-- consistent with the length and width of the dust cover and slide-- is that it helps breakup the print-through profile of the Glock 43 in your pocket. Looks less like a gun in your pocket and more like a deck of cards (or something else). One other thing to note: Because this is meant to be used in a hurry, you pre-select what you want the button to do. You can have it activate the light only, light and laser, or laser only. This way you only need to tap the button to light it up, and tap it again to turn it off. Overall, this is an excellent product, and they did a very good job designing it to be streamlined ("stream" theme, hehehe) to fit on the G43. Unfortunately, I could not use either of my "bellyband" or ThunderWear-style holsters with the G43 once this was mounted on the frame. Even my holster that fits a G19 wouldn't work with the G43 and Streamlight attached. I also could not find a suitable alternate Inside the Waistband (IWB) holster that it would fit in. Sadly, I'll be returning this unit. If in the future I can find a holster that will allow use of this, I may once again purchase it. ... show more
