  • Worth the price of admission
Color: Blue w/White LED Size: 2x AAA Alkaline Batteries Style: Penlight Pattern Name: Penlight
This light has a high quality finish and feel. The casing is solid. There’s nothing cheap about it. The beam is super bright 90 lumens. It even comes with a mesh belt pouch and 2 AAA Energizer batteries. Now let’s compare it to the Coast G20: Advantages to Stylus Pro: -brightness (90L versus 36) -pure white beam whereas G20 has a bit of a blueish tint. -compact (which is relative; they are both compact) -you can turn the light on without clicking it on -comes with batteries Advantages to G20: - a solid circle of light whereas streamlight beam is brightest at center then dissipates outward; this is nice for focusing on a particular object as everything outside that circle will not be illuminated - price Clarity & definition of objects: -both are excellent; Stylus has an edge due to luminosity advantage Build quality: -both seem to be high quality, solid, and tough. Grip: -the Stylus is a smooth barrel. The Coast has cross hatch texturing and cutouts on two sides. Both feel grippy enough I wouldn’t worry about holding onto them. Battery life: Haven’t owned either long enough to comment. Overall: They are both worth the price of admission on Amazon. Is the stream light worth 2x the Coast? Maybe. Depends on your personal preference? Will you be disappointed in either? No. ... show more

  • Bright, bright light! Better than most big flashlights!
Color: Red w/White LED Size: 2x AAA Alkaline Batteries Style: Penlight Pattern Name: Penlight
This is not what I wanted, but I love this little flashlight and am keeping it. First, what I wanted was a flashlight that I could use to improve being able to see very tiny numbers on tubes in newborn, critically ill babies. This flashlight is inappropriate for that function, because the light is simply too bright. I cannot hold this flashlight up near my own face, even with my eyes covered with a dark cloth, without it hurting my eyes. Yes, it is that bright! That said, this is a fantastic little flashlight that I intend to keep in my purse for those random emergencies or times when you need a flashlight. The beam lights up a whole room! Within 24 hours of getting it I ended up needing it to see the tiny serial number on the back of my cable box while talking to tech support and couldn't believe how easy I could read it with this light. I do want to make a statement about the complaints in other reviews that this light is hard to turn on and off. If it were easier to turn on and off, then it would be constantly turning on in my purse and the battery would be drained when I needed it most. And it's not really very hard at all to turn on and off. I'm nearing retirement age and am not very strong at all, plus I have significant arthritis, and I can easily turn this flashlight on and off. I have no problem with it at all. ... show more

Color: Black w/White LED Size: 2x AAA Alkaline Batteries Style: Penlight Pattern Name: Penlight
I have purchased 3 of these in the past 4 years. I use it as a daily carry light with very light duty. I work in an office. I am not saying I have never dropped it but with daily use it should not break in a year or under. Each have had the same issue which I can say is not from any impact from dropping it (I worked in a test lab for products like this). The button on the light itself stops functioning (all 3 units). It would work intermittently or cause flashing. If i actually got the light to stay on it would flicker when I moved the light slightly or turn off completely. I am an electrical engineer and I attempted to trouble shoot the light and I could not get it to function properly. I purchased the upgraded "Tactical" version of this light too since i thought it would be more durable. I spent approximately 50 dollars on and it had the same issue less than 3 months of use!!! I am very disappointed in this product's durability. This is one of the top flashlight companies and they cannot create a dependable product to carry everyday. I gave it 2 stars because I really do like the light when it functions. It is very bright and comfortable to keep in your pocket. I would use it almost everyday for one thing or another. I just wish it was durable. ... show more

  • Excellent EDC. Use it very regularly.
Color: Black w/White LED Size: 2x AAA Alkaline Batteries Style: Penlight Pattern Name: Penlight
Always wanted to EDC a flashlight, but figured it would be too bulky to do so. Now I carry one all the time and it's no issue. Quicker to get out than your phone camera, and bright enough to use in the dark on a farm in the middle of nowhere. Seriously. I was illuminating trees 100 yards away pretty easily. It's small but it is a real flashlight. I wish I had thought to take a photo of how much it can light up a dark field. People laugh and say "why do you carry a flashlight" until they try to find something in the dark with their phone. Then they ask where to buy one. It's also extremely tough. I live in North Dakota, and due to the pen pocket I was keeping it in on my work pants, it slipped out twice as I exited my car and spent 15 or so hours laying in the snow in -20f with no issues. I also use it as a little pry bar and hammer pretty regularly. Lots of dings on the finish now. Wish I could give it 20 stars. The best part is it is cheap enough to replace should you lose it. ... show more

  • Great for Corrections
Color: Black w/White LED Size: 2x AAA Alkaline Batteries Style: Penlight Pattern Name: Penlight
I am a corrections officer and purchased this for completing checks on residents in their cells. It is perfect for the job. It fits nicely in the pen pocket of my tactical pants, and I actually like that the light is hard to click all the way on. I press down on it for a momentary flash of light then release. The light is sufficient for illuminating a dark cell through the small thick windows for observation. I can clearly see my assigned residents without blinding/waking them. A few of them have stated they like this light as opposed to the larger Streamlights I use. So far this has lasted a month on overnights without needing a new battery and I have also dropped it once on concrete with no issue ... show more
