I couldn't imagine that a piece of semi-sturdy foam would help add support under a mattress, but this one does! I first tried it under the sheet but was too firm, so put it under the mattress as instructed, and voila, it provided just enough support to counter the slight sag and wear from our 15 year old Denver mattress. I understand why it is sized for a twin or one half of a wider bed, but it is pretty expensive for it's size. However, I have just ordered another one for the other side of the double bed, to even things up, and look forward to sleeping on a mattress that has better overall support. (p.s. thought we could just have one for the whole bed by putting it at an angle, but that doesn't work since it doesn't support the body in the right spots that way. For overall support on anything other than a twin bed, you unfortunately do need two). ... show more

I've had for several days and so far so good. I have a 1 year old Sealy Queen mattress with a 1 -1.5 inch middle sag. Two would probably work better because I can feel myself "rolling off" the pad on either side from it's center placement. That said, I've had for less than a week and I'm still getting used to it and the pad is still settling in. It HAS fixed the sag. I've placed it under the mattress and the mattress is covered with a quilted mattress pad. All in all, I think my mattress is just too firm so I didn't expect much in the area of pain relief so take that 4 rating on pain relief with a grain of salt. I think it's a bit pricey but so is everything these days. It solved the sag problem and the mattress is much more comfortable. ... show more

I have been struggling with back pain for a while and did not realize it was due to my mattress having a dip in the middle. It was so bad I was barely sleeping. The lack of sleep and the pain were awful, but I also do not have the money for a new mattress. This product saved the day, and my back. Bought this about 2 weeks ago and have been using this under my 20 year old mattress that has a bad sag and was really surprised it actually helps. Can't tell it sags at all anymore. Cheap fix if you can't afford a new mattress right away.
