It works as advertised and helps solve the main problem with these little heaters which is the heat rises so quickly that you hardly get any heat directly in front of the heater. This fan pushes some of the heat out in front of the heater which helps alot!

So far so good, using on Mr. Buddy heater. I have bought two previous fans, not the same as this, not same seller. They only lasted one season each. It appears the Mr. Buddy gets hotter than the fan is supposed to be used at. Low setting runs at 550 degrees. I believe the fans are supposed to be only up to 450?? This is the first fan, that has come with a thermometer. Definitely can’t use on Mr. Buddy if it’s on high. ... show more

I thought the other reviews were exaggerating, but I was wrong. Having this fan heated my cabin faster, by circulating the air. It does have a slight noise, but nothing loud enough to disturb you.

Easy to install. Even I could do it. Blows the air a couple of feet in front of the little heater and works just as it should. I highly recommend this. Great for tent camping, or heating a small room.

    • Doesn't produce much air movement, but DOES magically start working all on its own
I had seen these advertised but thought them some sort of scam. (That probably is more a reflection of my poor physics skills, tbh.) Thought I'd try one out and see if it really worked, and I am happy to report that it does, indeed, turn on and start spinning when it gets really hot. (I tested it on a cast iron skillet on my stove--LOL). After I got done staring at it, going, "huh, look at that," I realized that it is spinning like crazy, but it isn't produce much air movement. Dunno why. (Again, science.) It moves the air a little, but not really all that much. The heated air itself was probably moving the air around in the room more than this little unit. As a passive, simple way to get a little bit of movement, this would work. Just leave it on the stove and it will do its magical thing. I will say that it is completely silent, which is also a "huh" kind of moment. Can't hurt anything, and does produce a little air movement in its not-creepy-at-all-silent way. ... show more
