I bought this dresser for my 5 year old son’s room and I love it! His old dresser was one from Babies-R-Us that we got when he was born and we had problems with it from day one and then it got damaged when we moved. I really wanted to find one more sturdy and I’m so glad I trusted the good reviews on this one. It’s very sturdy and it’s beautiful. The drawers are especially well made and open and close with ease. I love the amount of storage. The base was a little tricky to put together but my husband and I were able to figure it out. We moved it into my son’s room and then the next day I built all the drawers myself and put them into the dresser. I love the look and quality so far (we only built it about a week ago) and would recommend to anyone looking for a new dresser! ... show more

I have 2 of this exact model dresser- one was purchased in 2021 and I liked it so much I bought a second for baby 2 in January '25. The quality has fallen off so drastically, I am astonished this can even be sold as the same model... The paint quality is horrible. Built up thick and lumpy in the details and grooves. The finish is thin and does not prevent scuffs like the older model. The drawer faces came with dark scratches on all the faces even though it was well packaged. I could probably finish it better with a can of spray paint... The original model used screws for assembly, the new model uses cam locks. Two screws replaced by one cam lock to hold the sides and face of drawers together. They feel flimsy compared to the sturdier old model. I won't be surprised they fall apart. The sides and back of the big drawers are shorter than the old model, much shorter than the face of the drawer. You can't fit nearly as many clothes in them as you would think by the face, not what you should be able to fit in them if they were the appropriate depth. I don't know why the sides and back would be so short other than to save material. The older model had all rounded edges on every board. A very nice touch for a kids room. The new model has sharp edges, which not only feel harsh but make the fit and finish worse as well. Overall, I'm disappointed in Storkcraft for cutting quality and selling it as the same model. If they wanted to cut costs then fine, but don't advertise it as the same product. I wouldn't recommend. ... show more

The dresser took me by my self about an hour and a half from box opening to cleaned up after. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. All the parts were clearly labeled. Only one small damaged corner, everything else is clean and in good condition. It's only day one so I can't speak to the longevity of the dresser, but it seems very sturdy and made of quality material. (It's press board/partical board with nice clean smooth finish) I found that all the screws and hardware went in straight without any stripage or cross threads. Those two things are the bane of my existence when putting furniture together. I did over tighten one screw which almost broke one of the cams, but that's my fault, not the dressers. I’ve bought two of these both in white. The first I bought 2 or 3 years ago and I noticed a couple small differences between the old and new. The main difference is that the new ones only allow you to open one drawer at a time! Maybe there’s a way to change it that I haven’t discovered yet but it’s kind genius actually! My children are climbers so only being able to open one drawer at a time avoids the possibility of them using the drawers as stairs and breaking them. I just assembled it and that was the only noticeable difference. I’ve purchased two of these dressers not because the old one needed to be replaced, it’s actually in perfect condition like new. I needed more clothing space for another child and I knew this dresser would hold up. I love it so much! ... show more

    • TAKES A LONG TO TO ASSEMBLE BUT IS A SUPERIOR PRODUCT THAT WILL LAST

There are lots of pieces and assembly is slow but parts are marked and picture directions are clear enough. Everything fits, the composite wood is strong and dense, all holes predrilled and key ones have metal inserts for the threads. This is for a child's room, but is the nicest looking dresser and probably the best quality. I would buy any piece of furniture that this company makes because of the looks and quality. First, when this is assembled it looks great and is sturdy. It is a good height and has plenty of room for toddler clothes. It took me 2.5 nap times to assemble this. The directions are black and white pictures and some are very unclear. Be careful of piece 6 and 9. There is no underscore to tell which is which and if you mix them up you will end up taking half the dresser apart to switch the pieces. (sigh). Once assembled, one draw did not fit correctly because the track was put on a little too high. I reached out to the company a few times (within operating hours) but no one answered the phone. Amazon did give me some money back for this and a friend was able to put the track in the correct position so that the drawer closed properly. Sending it back after you assemble it isn't really an option because it is so heavy. Overall, now that it is assembled properly I love it. Pro -sturdy -good height -plenty of space for my needs -will last a while Cons - If pieces are labeled wrong you won't know until after you assemble (I had 2) - sending it back after it is out of the box will be hard since it is so heavy and hard to manipulate - mine had one piece with a misplaced track ... show more
