  • Great product that's easy to install.
Style: Outdoor, 4 Levels
SUP holder, kayak holder, and all your paddles holder!! This product is so much better than described on their page. It's fantastic. As the photo shows I opted to not put one of the levels as I didnt know how I was going to place the two person kayak. Not pictured is another paddle board in the middle rack I added. This part is pretty important if like me you not only want a neat place for your boards but also your paddles.... I found a way to hold our paddles. I bought two straps that hooked under the kayak (or I could've opted for the rack itself). Each strap loosens with velcro and now all the paddles are neatly placed above the ground. That's four paddles that I no longer need to take from storage. There really isnt any good paddle storage options out there so its extra impressive that we can tweak this wall rack to save you even more space than had you bought a paddle wall rack. Plus this is shielded from the elements more. Installation was a breeze. If you have a 4 ft level you can put one size up then just put the other side about 4 ft apart and you have it all evened up in seconds. If you never drilled into concrete before you want to make sure you have a masonry bit. I opted to use my own anchors since I had them on hand but theirs are fine too. Then after adding each level was as simple as drilling a screw. It is surprisingly fast and easy. I'm talking about assembling a plastic deck box right after took hours and this marine grade wall mount took minutes. As long as you are fine drilling into a wall you are going to love this assembly. You may want to adjust one detail in their assembly instructions. The bottom bracket is set too high. Lower it a few notches. There is no way you can understand why this is important unless you follow their directions and discover you can not set the bottom tier BELOW the bracket. It will look like a waste of space - and it is. You want to be mindful that the top level can only go so high and the bottom level can only go so low. Not exactly where the pole ends but its going to be a spot their instructions will clearly show are a few holes out. This will let you space each level perfectly. In my case I didnt know where I'd situate the kayak (top or bottom?) Because of the wall height I chose the bottom so it's not raised above the wall top. Worked out great. ****INSERTED EDIT****: There is another review that beautifully pictures exactly what I am talking about with the bottom holes not lining up. So this is what you dont want to run into and can be avoiding by allowing the bracket to join on a lower hole. As for the instructions....they were great other than that one part above. The whole process took only a few minutes. It's a really really easy installation with clear instructions. I had someone help me only for a few seconds to hold the second pole against the wall as the level sat on top of it. You could eliminate that 2nd person by using a pencil instead. But then youd lose out on them handing you a few anchors and screws as you quickly whiz away at assembly. Again, the rack itself is great. The cushion that the boards sit on are rugged yet soft to not hurt your boards. It's a really well thought out piece of equipment. I opted for the marine grade but I noticed their website had a stainless steel option as well. The stainless steel version foot print was just a little too big for me to use on this wall but I'm more than happy with this marine grade version. Now that I've seen it I'm glad I was forced to go with it. Definitely 5 stars. ... show more

  • Space Saver!
Style: Outdoor, 4 Levels
I was looking to open up some floor space in the garage and purchased this to move the boards up. I ordered the outdoor model figuring it may hold up a bit better, being on the water. This model is a bit more to install as it's all stainless nuts and bolts for each rack arm. The other (indoor) model has more of a hitch pin process which is easier to change the levels as needed (just pull the pin move the arm and put the pin back in. This one requires nut and bolt removal for any adjustments. I'd knock it down half a star for this little inconvenience but overall quality is excellent with good fit. I have the indoor version at another house and quite honestly that is adequate for garage storage given the price point difference. Keep paddling..... Peace! ... show more

  • Great way to store kayaks in a garage
Style: Indoor, 4 Levels
Good quality, sturdy, installation took less than 30 minutes. Very happy with results, but I have 3 kayaks to store. Squeezing 4 kayaks might be challenging, depending on height.

  • Is just what you need for boards and paddles and sails and....
Style: Indoor, 4 Levels
I had made a board holder, which worked great but was good for only two boards. I was getting a third board so I purchased the 4 board model and could not be happier. The installation was simple, the device is very sturdy, but the actual metal used seems very light. The good news is that made the installation a bit easier. The bolts were plenty long enough, and good enough quality to drive without an issue. The racks they them selves have a very high degree or rake (angle slanted to the wall) and if it were up to me I would reduce this as when you put a board in, you need to be careful of it hitting the wall. The cover on the arms is very "sticky" which would require you to lift the board all the way into position. This would just not work for a single person to pick up a board in the second third or fourth position, so I covered over the arms with 2" black plastic pipe so the boards can "slide" into place. Last I would say that if you are like me and the top board space is just plain to high to "press the board" up to, you will need a pully system. I would include a link but I have not tested mine yet, so not quite sure how this will work. Great product, great price. My garage now looks like a garage again. ... show more

  • Extra effort for concrete wall
Style: Indoor, 4 Levels
Key point for anyone who has a concrete block wall - the fastener hardware included is only for wood. I had to borrow a hammer drill and buy carbide masonry bits, concrete screws (tapcons) and washers to assemble what was needed to mount this rack to a concrete wall. I don’t know if it’s mentioned anywhere but I was caught a little off guard by this and even spent a Sunday unsuccessfully trying to use my standard drill to drill holes in my garage wall (didn’t work). It’s also considerably harder to drill holes in concrete even when you have the right tools! I imagine anyone living near the coast with a CBS home has the same problem. All worked out in the end as can be seen by the photo. ... show more
