  • Perfect
This is a great resource for people who are beginning their journey in improving their diets because of kidney stones. The recipes are really doable and aren’t expensive to prepare. I have been following Melanie ever since she started her quest to improve the information that is on the internet for kidney stones. Her education and experience, along with her passion in her mission, can’t be beat. I have learned sooo much from her and I have not had any more stones because I follow her advise. ... show more

  • Excellent Resource!
Melanie Betz is a renowned kidney stone expert. Truly the real deal. In addition to recipes, her new book has a helpful intro section that explains the underlying science behind the kidney stone diet. It’s secured a place on my recipe book shelf!

  • Low Oxalate diet, what is that
I needed to find a book to help me understand a low oxalate diet. When my nephrologist told me to eat low oxalate foods, I had no idea where to start or what to eat. This book has delicious recipes that are easy to prepare.
