Fit well

We love Stohlquist for our babies first life vests! From 2 weeks old to about 3 yrs old. Great for the boat, easy to use, comfortable fit, easy to clean. This is our 3rd one in this style and size for our 3 little ones. They have never complained or minded them and fall asleep easily in them with the comfortable neck support while we are under way. If used for swimming or in the water you definitely need to still supervise them closely and be within reach so they don’t turn the wrong way, but that’s with any life vest. We mainly use them for boating and when the kids are playing on deck.

My husband and I kayak so I bought this for our daughter. She is in Infant Swim Rescue classes and the last week of lessons, we tested this in the pool. It flipped her right side up easily and the head support made it easier for her to float. Puts me at ease if she was unconscious, the life vest would help her. As an ER RN, I have performed CPR on drowning victims so I highly recommend any safety measures from swim lessons to this vest !

I love the design and colors of this life jacket. It works well in the water but it's purpose is to flip the baby on the back. I've used it from when my child was 6 months old to now 20 months (20pds). It's always looked uncomfortable on her but she hasn't seemed bothered by it.

Best Infant Life Jacket!!!

After doing tons of research and asking around I ordered several life jackets for my 6 month old to wear on a boat. This one was by far the more comfortable for her as it didn't ride up on her cheeks as much as the others did while still providing the required flotation rating. In fact, she falls asleep in it every single time we go out because the head flotation part acts like a pillow. I would recommend sitting them on your leg to make wearing the jacket more comfortable if they aren't laying down but since we put it on her every time she doesn't fuss in it. As an added bonus, we love the color selections.
