This sketch pad is perfect for our daughter. It is nice and thick with tons of pages to be used. The size is perfect for her and she loves the upper ring binding so used pages are not in her way on future projects. The color of the front is very vibrant as well.

The paper quality is perfect no matter if sketching with a pen or pencil—so smooth and not grainy. The spiral bound part allows the book to lay flat which allows for better sketches without interference of binding. The paper is thick enough it does not bleed through.

The media could not be loaded. I really like the size and page quantity of this sketchbook. The quality of the pages are good but thin. Pencils, pens, and charcoal work great! I wouldn't ever use any paints or markers though. The only feature that could be better is the cover - it is a bit flimsy but since I don't really travel with this sketchbook, I don't mind. Sketches only! The first thing i noticed was that the paper is kinda thin and sort of construction-paper like in texture. Will likely work great for Charcoal and pencil sketches but erasing too much or drawing too hard will cause the paper to tear. Not for big multi media projects, but I love the amount of paper it comes with and the size and will be utilizing this pad for gesture sketching !
