This is a seriously dangerous less-than-lethal weapon in the right hands. Former LEO here used to carrying an ASP baton on duty. I purchased this after seeing multiple advertisements and videos followed by a little research. When you first receive this product, I recommend tightening the hex screws that keep the steel cord attached to the grip. Then start practicing (outside on inanimate objects)! Get used to the weight, the grip, the feel, the whip lash, and range of motion. You do not want to hit yourself with this whip. I highly recommend taking a self defense class so that you don’t have this taken from you if you ever need to use it. Side note: This is concealable if you’re wearing pants, so check your state laws and local city & county ordinances before you start walking around the neighborhood with this thing in your hand. ... show more
