It’s not bad at all! Definitely worth the money! I ordered the 2000 RMS amp. Powering 2 Dual Kicker Square L7R’s 12 inch subs with Kickers OFC CCA wiring kit, 2 fuse blocks, secondary battery install still on stock alternator, ran a few battery and alternator test and everything running smoothly as it should. No dim headlights, just straight POUND!! I drive 4 hours a day 3 days a week and the other days 2 hours. I can run it the whole time and feel the amp and wires and there is no heat at all from wires and very minimal on amp. Cool as a cucumber! Around 70ish percent gain and no other settings set on amp but how it came from packaging 0…. Just from my Sony deck app and deck itself I’m control eq and my other settings to get that nice pound and vocals.. Using Tidal for music and it’s HIFI and amazing sound. This amp is well make, quality control is A-1! If you’re running around 1200-2000 RMS this is going to give you what you need without a doubt! ... show more

I am happy with this amp, it is way more than enough power for the single 12" sub I am running. It it nice and small and packs a punch. Pretty good quality all around for a fairly cheap amp. I also really appreciate how compact it is. It came with a test certificate indicating it made more than the rated power. There are some good reviews of this amp on that large well known site that has video content. I guess you get in trouble for trying to link to it here though. ... show more

Glad I gave this amp a chance. It replaced a Skar RP-1500D and so far it's better in every way. It's way smaller and can fit into tighter spaces. My EVL 12" sub responds way better to the Stinger amp. It's also way more efficient. With the Skar RP installed, my voltage would drop from 14.0 to the mid 12's in about 2 minutes of full tilt. Constantly clipping and sounding like trash. After I installed the Stinger amp I can go full tilt for as long as I want and the lowest voltage I've noticed is 13.7. No distorting and way more output. If you are between this and the Skar, the Stinger wins all day long. Very impressed. ... show more

I purchased the Stinger 10 inch loaded box and 1000 watt rms amp package for $259 and all I can say is wow. I saw the amp dyno on YouTube and figured I’d give Stinger a shot. Coming from a Skar 800.1RP, the Stinger blows the Skar out of the water. If picking between Stinger, CT, Skar or any other budget amp, Stinger is the clear winner. ... show more

For the price, it's decent. It clamps rated and that's the most important thing. My complaints: The knob lacks housing. Which is fine if you're going to flush mount it somewhere. But in car audio these days, knobs are being handheld. Lacks a clip indicator. That aids in tuning without the need of an oscope or DD1. Nearly every decent amp on the market has one, there's no excuse not include one outside of being cheap. Made in China. Korean amps are king and there are plenty of Korean boarded amps in this wattage and price range. It's not a bad amp, it'll do it's job as intended. But if you care about your system, do a bit more digging and get the better product for the same price. ... show more

good amp love the size plenty of power im running 2 10s at around 1-1.5 ohms on the meter but it will go into protect on certain bass tones not sure why im using proper gauge wire amp draw isn't to large hopefully it will break in.

The quality of this amp is really good and it sounds awesome paired with my old 300watt RMS MTX 15 sub. It's very small, powerful and the build quality is impressive for the price. If you are in the market for a budget amp get this you will not be disappointed. The only con I can think of is the bass knob is super touchy so be careful when you turn it up. ... show more
