Bought this kit with the goal of learning how to tattoo from a complete beginner. If you plan on using coil machines, buy it. The machines themselves are a little cheaply made and overheat after about an hour of continuous use, but what do you expect from a 50$ kit. The good news is, everything is interchangeable. You can buy higher quality parts as you go along. Do your research, watch a lot of videos. Learn everything you can about the machine and the process. The grips, tubes, needles and ink I only use for practicing. I only use top notch needles, ink, and disposable grip/tubes when tattooing people. But you'd probably be fine using this on humans as long as you are practicing proper sanitation. As far as an all in one kit, there is definitely bang for your buck here but, I do recommend upgrading the internals of your machines.. Or just buy a couple more higher quality ones. The main problem with them is the contact screw is held tight buy lactic screws so it wants to move around sometimes, so you have to make sure everything is right before and while you are tattooing. I did manage to crank it down enough to get it to stay but it's not the best also the spring is a lower quality, would recommend changing that. I could keep rambling, but I think you get the point. I had a little bit of trouble getting the machines to work at first because there's not a instructions at least in my box there wasn't but after a little tinkering I was able to get all 4 machines working so I haven't got a chance to put them to use but I have tattooed off and on for the last 35ys and they work like any other machines that I have ever used so I recommend this for anyone who wants to get there feet wet in the art of tattooing this is a perfect item to do so ... show more

This kit came with everything you need to get started the ink is not half bad either I’m an artist on paper so this helped me bring my images out in a different way I recommend this for anyone wanting to get into tattooing the only complaint is the practice skin it comes with the sheet is small not a lot of space for practice of course I recommend getting pigs ears from the store or something of that nature to practice on because this is nowhere close to real skin ... show more

I didn't try the ink since I only use two brands for that, but I used this set up and was impressed by the quality...reminds me of shoes, if you want name brand it's going to cost you...but you can get it cheap without the name and still have great shoes, which is what you get here, not shoes, but a great kit priced right ... show more

Machines work well. Be sure to buy extra ink and ppe. If you are not mechanically inclined you may struggle to tune them. They work well and I'm glad I purchased these machines.
