I run an oscope as well hard mounted into my truck. Issue is if I have it charging and fire up my subs I’ll blow the battery out of oscope. This is a great way to monitor and it’s very accurate. But I’d not use it without a proper tool for calibration

    • Doesn't work on most amps and they know this!
I bought 3 of these Steve Meade SMD OM-1 from West Coast Car Audio for 3 different amps, a JBL amp which worked perfect, a HELIX V EIGHT DSP MK2 amp that just kept all the leds lit even when nothing is played and a DC 3.5k amp which sends the amp into protect mode when the volume is high. The gains are set correctly on all the amps and had no issues before and no issues after I disconnected these nice over priced led lights. The user manual suggest using a 10uF 200V nonpolarized capacitor which is not included and they clearly know this is a problem so why not include one for the super low price of $109.99 that you sell these for?. Most people don't know what a 10uF 200V nonpolarized capacitor is so good luck finding one ... show more
