So, I have a fairly extensive collection of books. Some 400 years old with a few illustrated manuscripts in the collection. We are temporarily in a tiny apartment in NYC so don't have room for my library and it can't stay in our 'real' apartment during the renovations. We rented a storage room and I needed something reliable that would keep out moisture. These are perfect. I sealed one up with a 10-60% humidity sensor paper in it and waited for it to stabilize: 40% perfect. Then I put the container in a warm shower, shut the door and left it for twenty minutes: no change. Turned the shower off and left it wet for 4 hours. The humidity in the container didn't change. Then I did the test again with the box UPSIDE DOWN so water MIGHT seep in through the seals. Nope. Perfect. These are the best gasket boxes I tested, the locking handles are secure, the seals tight, they work perfectly, stack reliably even with 40 pounds of books, and they are the perfect size. Of course I still dropped a few Silica packets in as I packed the books but I don't have to worry about them. And, if I want a book, I can see into them making it easy to pull the volume I need. ... show more

The tubs work great. Be advised they are not heavy-duty tubs but are perfect for lighter items like linens, etc. The lids are secure and are easy to open. Upon arrival, the bottom tub was cracked in shipping and the seller promptly remedied the situation!

UPDATE BELOW.....I like these. Because they are shallow. They lids are gasketed so they will keep things safe. For what I needed - they are perfect. I would purchase these again. They arrived quickly along with some other things I had ordered in good condition - nothing broken - edges, lids etc. They seem to be a little bit weightier than others that I have purchased in the past. They seem stronger, like they will last longer. Fingers crossed. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I had another two sets of 4 in my cart ready to order IF I got my money back for the 2 containers that had been crushed. I love these for storing things and keeping them safe from insects. We had an invasion of carpet beetles due to improper caulking of some of our windows when our house was built. These are a really good size for closet items like sheet sets and clothing. I’ll definitely order more if needed.

On top of that, 1 of the 4 was damaged at some point. When contacted about it they responded in less than an hour to say they were shipping a replacement. Size: 7.5 Quart Style: 6 Pack
These are very light weight and strong. You can stack them and they will stay in place with how the bottom and lid is designed. These keep a tight seal which is important to me. The clips are are easy to pull down and bring up you feel a slight tug when doing so but that helps with the pressure to the foam ring to ensure a tight seal.
