I saw all the reports of broken boxes, but mine arrived quickly and all in one piece. Truthfully, this is the 3rd set of this size I've ordered, in addition to several sets of the 6Qt containers, and I've never had any of them be broken on arrival or even break while in use. I imagine the can get brittle with age, but none of mine are showing age after several years. My only (very minor) complaint is that the latches are not 'tight.' The latch fine and hold when carrying or even when tipped over, but if they drop a foot or so on the side, the lids pop off. Also, when sliding upper boxes on and off lower ones, the latches often come open on the lower boxes. Not a major problem unless you pull a box out that's full of lego pieces and it tilts and spills. Bottom line: I like these, I've had no significant problems with them in just shy of 2 years and the price was the best available. ... show more

These have been our go-to storage totes for quite some time. It was actually a bargain to buy them online, though be aware that the shipping box is pretty large. There were issues where one tote was cracked, and the item was delivered by FedEx who caused a headache, but the seller was very supportive and was great at communicating with us. I took a star off because of the cracked tote, though some duct tape was able to fix the issue. This is my favorite size storage bin. I use quite a few of these to organize my miniature inventory. I particularly love the latches on these as they snap so you know the lid is secure. Additionally, the lids and side edges on these are pretty sturdy so the container doesn't bow in when you stack more tubs on top of each other. They are mostly see through so you can tell what is inside easily. These arrived on time and were packed well so none of them were cracked or broken. As a plus, these fit on the gray garage storage racks perfectly (4 per shelf). They also slide under the bed well. I order these all the time and would recommend them for others. ... show more
