This is exactly what I needed. It's just like the old steamer trunks-- only lightweight. It's the perfect size for storing important papers, smallish valuables & sentimental items that I don't want to walk away or leave exposed to miscreants while I'm away from home for extended travel. I live in an apartment building where I don't exactly trust the management to not enter my apartment and snoop through my belongings in my absence. I mean it's not fort Knox, but it does afford a significant degree of peace of mind. It's made of durable plastic and features 2 recessed wheels at one end and an indentation just under the lid where you can grasp hold of it at the opposite end for easy mobility. Above the handle, in the center, is a set of holes for the insertion of a padlock. I intend to lock up my passport, birth certificate, bank records, tax records, diary & other writings, receipts, my Bulova watch, a diamond bracelet and even a couple of 35 mm cameras that I don't want anyone's hands on. Out of sight, out of mind!! Oh, and if ever there's an emergency requiring quick evacuation-- I like the idea of having all of my legal docs and valuables in one container & ready to grab and go!! (I may even stash a change of clothes inside it for good measure.)

Ok, I spent an inordinate amount of time reviewing plastic storage bins. Why? I was looking for something that wasn't huge, but also has wheels. I needed it for storing some emergency equipment and rations. I also wanted it to have wheels so that my wife can move it when she needs to. There are a number of storage bins that have wheels but a lot of them are either very large (and consequently, get very heavy very quickly) or are shockingly expensive despite the plastic they are made of. I also didn't want one with a lid that is a separate piece, I wanted one connected with hinges. I was looking for something that struck the right balance and I think this is the one. This is not a super strong rigid box. I can sit on it but the bending of the top lets me know I shouldn't. It's very lightweight when empty. I don't really abuse things so I expect it will last a long time. I purchased more expensive, rigid boxes for other purposes, I simply don't need this one to be that. Don't buy a cheap box and then write a bad review when you find out it is actually a cheap box. I wanted a cheap box. The latches seem fine, we'll see. It is not water resistant. Sure, it will keep things dry if it is in a short rain, but the top does not overhang the lower bin, they meet evenly, so water will easily seep in during a downpour. If you need a water resistant bin, this is not the one. There is a hole to place a padlock in front, but it's more to say, 'hey, don't open this' than to actually prevent it from being opened, it would be very easy to pop this apart from the back if someone was motivated. One thing I like is that the hinged lid opens completely until it touches the ground on the other side. It does not stop at 90 degrees when open. I like this because it is all too easy to snap off those lids that only open partially. A minor but good feature. Overall, my expectations were for a bin of a certain size that is relatively cheap and has wheels. Perfect.

We purchased a couple of these containers as raccoon proof holders of dog food. They open and close easily and latch securely. I really like the wheels to roll a full container around. An unexpected bonus is that they stack nicely. I had an issue with one of the containers and customer service resolved it immediately. I am very impressed.

This bin was the perfect length for tent camping, its large enough to store a week's worth of things to wear. The boxes are stackable. The wheels on the box are ok. Do not sit on the box! They are sturdy when stacking but not sturdy for sitting.

I used these to move and it was great! I plan on using them to store decorations for different months, but first I used them for moving. Nothing broke and I was able to fit a lot in them. I love the teal color and the wheels at the bottom came in handy when moving them from room to room. I also used one to take on an outreach event for work and was able to fit it in the folding wagon I had.

Overpriced and lid does not lip over the edge to mitigate water intrusion. This is bigger, has better lid and is half the price https://a.co/d/0aFMsYYZ
