I have to say I was a little skeptical about getting this for my son, just because he will be 6 soon but he does love to build and assemble things but I got it for him anyway. HE LOVED IT!!!! It took us way longer that it should have but we took brakes in between. We love the solar element especially here in Florida is another opportunity to get outside and spend time with my son. It does have a lot of small pieces tho so if your kids are the kind to put things in their mouth I wouldn’t recommend. We took out and separated pieces, counted them and read instructions and then got started. Loved it!

The age marked on this is accurate because it is a but complicated with a lot of pieces but good quality and clear instructions! I thought I’d try this with my 5 year old but it is a bit advanced for her age but she loved what “we” made :)

I got this for my boys. They are a bit younger than the suggested age but totally into robots and STEM. They had so much fun building this with their dad and making it work.
