The switch performs pretty much as advertised but I do have lines through one of my monitors when I switch to PC2. I have tried different adapters and cables so the problem lies in the switch. I have also noticed my secondary monitor on PC2 will occasionally lose video and I have to mess with the connections on the switch to get the video back. Not a ad switch for the money but not great either. I did not attempt to return the device because the issue isn't that much of a nuisance at this point. ... show more

I bought this to connect my work laptop and my personal pc to one screen set as shown in the pic. It took me like an hour to figure out the wiring at first but then man oh man it worked exactly as I wanted. I switch between computers in a second. It never lagged and never stopped working. I had a homemade setup to work from home at with the same monitors and keyboard I use for my home rig. Itrequired me to toggle the video source for my monitors and move the dongle from my PC to the work laptop. Now I just one button to switch between the two. Now I just hit one button and it takes maybe 2 seconds or less to toggle back and forth. Setup was easy and I have had no problems using it. I needed something to switch between my office laptop and home computer. I had a separate switch for USB and only a one monitor switch and the USB one was slow. It was a pain using two switch buttons and not having dual monitor support. This works great for what I need and switches quickly.

Transitions well as intended. Takes 2 seconds to switch between work from home and personal laptop. Both Monitors will occupy one computer at a time. There's no way to view desktop of work from home laptop on one screen and personal laptop on the other. IMPORTANT: The device projects a high pitch frequency sound.
