Product is constructed with amazing quality and strength. I as a female assembled this on my own and it was very simple to do. There are a few typos in the instructions, but with the pictures I was able to still figure it out. The instructions are written clearly. The only thing that was frustrating, was that Amazon sent me two of the same boxes and therefore did not receive box 4 of 4. Do not build your cage if you do not have all the boxes as Amazon will not replace missing parts or boxes. It is not worth the effort of building it to have to take it apart to send it back for a return or exchange. It has a ton of bolts. Amazon did issue a small credit that was not enough to cover the cost of purchasing the missing parts from the manufacturer. The manufacturer was easy to deal with and professional, even though they won't cover for Amazon's mistake. Now I have an extra box of parts that I obviously don't need and is a waste to throw away. ... show more

My son.14, had this as his deepest desire for Christmas. It arrived without issue, son and husband put it together fairly easily without yelling and there were no missing parts. It seems sturdy. Son has used it pretty much daily and loves it.

I have been using this rack for about 5 months now, and it is working out great. It was fairly easy to put together with excellent instructions. This product seems to be very well made and it is sturdy. It did have some minor damage from a careless shipper, but overall this is an excellent product. I would buy it again! ... show more

    • Good for Now
1) I purchased this initially with Amazon but I cancelled and order through the manufacturer because it work quicker. It was taking almost a month for the delivery to arrive because after purchasing you have to set up a delivery date and the delivery date is a long way from what you would expect. 2) The cage arrives in 4 boxes (not light of course so you know but manageable). The assembly instructions are not the best. There's information missing about a few items that needs to be installed in certain set up forms. READ everything first and inventory everything before assembly. The assembly was straight forward after figuring out the missing information as the instructions are based on photos alone and no script . 3) Assembly everything loose to make sure everything fit properly and note there are no torque spec so I say hand tighten good and use other safe securing methods. After assembly, test everything from pull up bars to racks to make sure nothing moves as the straight bar moved after I put my body weight on it (195, 6'2). Side note, I need to jump up to get on the second pull up bar. 4) This is made in China so at times it is not a good thing but from the reviews before me, I hope it is some somewhat commercial grade as it is 16 gauge steel compared to USA made brands that 11 gauge steel (thicker). There is different when it comes to use and long term abuse along with weight capacity. Finally, I purchased this for my home gym and I hope it lasts so I can take it with me when I move. The reinforced steel plates assist in the weight capacity but my only question is why not increase the steel gauge for a thick and more durable result. They don't say the type of steel used but testing a Rogue and Titan Fitness cage to this, there is a BIG difference ((1.524mm thick (16G) vs 3.048mm thick (11G Rogue)). I hope this helps everyone. I will update in a year as I use this cage a minimum 5 days a week. ... show more

This is a very solid and sturdy weightlifting rack. It's very versatile and allows you to perform a number of exercises, from simple pull ups to squats and rack pulls if you have the accessory equipment. I also purchased a Steelbody bench which allows me to do flat and incline bench using the cage to rack my barbell. I only have one complaint. Its that I had to modify the holes on two support beams. This is because when assembled, the holes for the screws attaching the two support beams to the cage frame did not line up properly. If not for this problem, I would have given this item 5 out of 5 stars. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the gym, especially for the price shipped. I was debating between this, REP Fitness PR5000 and the Rogue Monster series. I just made the determination that if I use it as much as I think I will, in the future I will upgrade. That being said, I might not bother as this unit does just about everything you want. Perhaps there is a limitation on the accessories that can be added. The Rogue and REP have lots of add ons that expand the functionality, however, this is mainly a squat, bench and pull up rack for me. If I was to change anything about this rigit would be the gauge of steel used for the uprights and the hole spacing. I think the more expensive rigs have much closer hole spacing, and the thickness of the uprights make the use more pleasurable. When changing the height of the safeties the tubes make the worst screeching sound as the steel is thin enough to be played like a violin. Another thing that could be upgraded is better protection for the J-Cups, the steel edge is sharp and probably will damage the knurling on my bar. All that said, worth the price and I am very happy with the purchase. ... show more
