This pleasantly surprised me. Firstly let me warn you the box is, HEAVY. And I was beginning to wonder if I had bitten off mor than I could chew. But after getting into the room and starting on it, I realized it was totally achievable. I am a not-so-strong but very stubborn middle aged woman. I was able to put this together with some initial help in the first 3 steps from my 11 year old daughter who only held pieces. The panels are so big that you need someone to hold the side pieces (in steps 2 and 3) steady until you can "box it in" with the 4th side. Once that was done, I was able to do the rest of it on my own. I did commandeer my husband's cordless driver to make it easier, but you could do this entire thing with only a Phillips head screwdriver. From opening the box to putting it in its final place in the room took me 2 1/2 hours. The instructions were easy to follow. And I could maneuver the entire thing once it was put together. The packing that it came in was almost short of excessive, but the pieces arrived completely undamaged. The drawers slide out nicely and quietly. The doors also open and shut quietly, not the loud, clanky metal cabinet of old. This is in our bedroom as extra clothes storage. The cabinet is JUST deep enough for full size clothes hangers. But I am very pleased with this and happy with my purchase.

I am really happy with this wardrobe! I use it as a coat closet by my front door. I was a little worried it would look too industrial or too much like a locker since it is metal, but it looks great (I got the green color and the gold tone handles are a nice touch). It's big, but it makes the room seem larger because all the front door clutter is hidden (shoes, coats, bags, hats and scarves). I like the large top shelf for storing small items neatly in baskets. A lot of reviews mentioned dents and warped doors, but mine arrived in perfect condition with no warping. Assembly seemed tricky at first until I realized I was trying to install a piece on the wrong side! Once i figured that out, the rest was very easy and quick, so be sure you examine the instructions carefully and put on your glasses to look at the details! I only have two complaints: 1) it should be just an inch or so deeper to fit full size hangers without angling them, and 2) it needs air vents for ventilation. It can get a bit stinky in there if you're storing shoes and boots at the bottom!

Beautiful cabinet! I wanted a solution to the eyesore of all my plant care items stored in our sunroom. This solved the problem quite stylishly and without breaking the bank. A few points to consider: Assembly. There are some points in the assembly process that are frustrating. The screws are tiny, the holes are hidden behind ridges that are difficult to reach, and the holes don’t align perfectly. Save yourself so much hassle by using a longer screwdriver with a magnetized tip. So helpful. Assembly is also much, much easier with another person helping at the points where the holes don’t align perfectly without some maneuvering. Once you get beyond the middle steps, the last few points of assembly are a breeze. I tried to add some photos of the ridges and small holes, and tricky points of assembly that required interesting body positioning. Metal malleability. The metal easily warps, dents, and scratches during transport. I didn’t mind too much, until I realized door K was warped in the middle. This prevents the top of the door from aligning and closing properly. I took a few photos of this. I’ve reached out to the company to see if I can get a new door. Tbd on that, and then further tbd on figuring out how to remove the current door, given the spring used in assembly. UPDATE: A testament to the malleability of this metal is the company’s response to my inquiry. They have a tutorial explaining to pull the bottom and the top part of the door in opposite directions as the method to correct the bent door that does not close fully. The method works, but you have to play around with the pulling. Again—I still love how this cabinet looks, and I’m glad I didn’t have to pay a ton of money for it. Just know what you’re in for when you purchase! Cleaning. This thing shows every fingerprint and attracts all the dust. You’ll have to wipe it down a few times during assembly, and will probably have to clean it regularly. You can see some of my prints in the photo. Security. I used the holes in the back of the cabinet to anchor to the wall. I drilled using 2” sheet metal screws directly into studs. I didn’t feel comfortable using the drywall anchors supplied in the package. Most drywall anchors are good for like ~75 pounds, and this cabinet loaded will be much more than that. The holes are not placed a standard stud distance apart, but fortunately, the spacing in the sunroom was a bit odd. Overall, I love this cabinet! I love how the sunroom instantly upgraded in coziness, stylishness, and organization once I finished assembly. I fit several plastic storage bins full of plant supplies, plant tools, and a few other odds and ends in here. Not sure I’ll ever need to use the hanging rod, but it’s there. Would highly recommend this product, so long as you’re okay with the above caveats!
