Description

This classic style guitar package from stedman guitars includes everything you will need start playing right out of the box. The full size 39" guitar has a rosewood fretboard and maple neck. The guitar features a three pickup configuration, with a pick up selector knob to mold your tone. The neck has 21 frets, and is supported by a fully adjustable truss rod. The body is made out of basswood, a very light wood which makes it ideal for beginning players who aren't used to guitars made of heavier wood. It also features a stylish pick- guard to protect your instrument from scratching. If you are considering purchasing a new guitar, the stedman beginner series electric guitar will make an excellent addition to any collection. Comes with a 10 watt amp, a gig bag case, guitar strap, electronic tuner, cable, pics, whammy bar, string winder, polishing cloth are all included -- so you will need nothing else when you get your new guitar package from us. I was looking for something inexpensive to fiddle around with. The packing did make me nervous when the product first arrived. There was a lot of room inside the large, outer box for the second, inner box (containing the guitar, amp and accessories) to bounce around and be jostled during shipment. To my relief, the guitar itself was unmarred, and the amp works as it should. I am very much a novice and wanted something to learn with. This fits the mold perfectly. The sound quality from the guitar/amp combination is fine, and I did not want more. Obviously you get what you pay for and I knew it would be lower quality in a package like this with the amp. The amp itself is probably the worst thing in the package I personally think it sounds too grainy and muffled but my boyfriend who I got it for loves it. The amp is also a lot smaller than I thought so I figured I should post a pictures of it with the guitar in case anyone else needs a picture to see what it really looks like. Another thing is one of the strings broke after like a week thankfully it came with extras but I expected to last a little longer before the strings started breaking off. Same thing for the guitar itself there’s like this vinyl wrap on it that started creating air bubbles and my boyfriend figured he was supposed to peel it off but I think it was supposed to be a kind of cover wrap to prevent scratching but regardless it came off when it started peeling. Overall it is still very nice looking and my boyfriend loved it but once again if you’re looking for quality maybe look somewhere else and do a little research before you buy. ... show more

Guitar was shipped quickly, and arrived before expected. That said, the box it came in, originally secured with 4 pieces of tape, only had one remaining upon delivery. When that piece of tape was cut, the box broke in half, spilling the contents on the floor. Fortunately, the instrument was well packed inside the gig bag. The zipper on the gig bag tore off when it was first opened. The guitar was in beautiful shape...except...it was advertised as "Transparent Green with Black Picguard". It is a nice green, but the picguard, knobs and back plate are WHITE! Why can't the ship what they sell? At this point I was ready to ship the whole thing back, but I would have to find a box. The guitar is a nice beginner's model, and the body and neck are flawless. It comes with cheap strings that stretch like crazy the first few days. The little tuner the seller provides works well, and I recommend keeping it on the guitar for a couple of days, as it will help you while the strings stretch to their final destination. The little 10 watt amplifier is fun, but don't plan on playing at Wood Stock with it. I used it outside on my lanai, and my neighbors have yet to complain. Final thoughts; Fast shipping, but I wish better packaging. I am very disappointed by the color issue. The gig bag is unpadded, but would be decent if the maker' quality control were better. I'm still P.O.'d about the color issue. Assembly and quality are quite good , over all. With better strings, and perhaps better winding machines, this guitar will move from a low range to mid range instrument. Did I mention I'm still irritated by the wrong color picguard? ... show more

I play classical guitar and I just wanted a throw around electric at a great price and this is definitely a great deal for a great price! The actual guitar is light weight! Great tone, easy to play! Of course since the price is so low don’t expect great quality with the case, and the amp and other stuff included, HOWEVER, it does include A LOT of stuff for a beginner! When I plugged it into my amp (not the one provided) it sounded so great! I’ve had it a month now and I love it! The head is wood so mine unfortunately chipped but it’s funny because now my guitar looks more edgy than if it hadn’t chipped. I would recommend for beginners or something affordable ... show more

Great beginner guitar! Bought this set for my nephew and he loves it! Nice guitar! The neck was straight, it looks great too. The amp is just OK. Would recommend upgrading the amp. Also I would suggest getting some new strings right away also. Personally I like the GHS boomers.

while i’m very happy with the guitar it is broken at the very top and looks jankee both boxes it was shipped in were damaged in some way especially the outermost box. i’m happy with the guitar just not happy with the shipping or the fact it’s broken.
