I lay this blanket across the foot of my bed at night, and turn it on for an hour to warm my feet while I fall asleep. A whole electric blanket overheats me, but a mild warming of my diabetic feet is really nice. (I put it on top of the regular blankets and only turn it up halfway.) I have been using mine for months now, and my feet and my artificial knees have not been hurting or cold for all that time. Better choice than some because the wires don't move around inside the throw, so you don't get a bunching up of the heat. I have washed it twice--cleans nicely, I recommend drying it over a chair so neither side risks getting a musty smell. It says to shape and dry flat, but I have never had to do that. ... show more

I loved this throw the first time I ordered it. After a couple weeks it stopped working. The return/exchange was easily done. Now I’m on my 2nd throw, after a few weeks this one has also stopped working. Not willing to order a 3rd. Very disappointed because it was so soft and warm.

Expected a white sherpa lining, MY MISTAKE ! Product is gray in color. It is soft and light. Sitting in my easy chair it is snuggly and warm. My dislikes are the one side that is supposed to be sherpa lined is more like a very long haired dog = SKIPPY my pet as a child ( LOVED THAT DOG ! ) Well anyway it could be a bit warmer. Well If you don't mind the long dog hair effect you should be very happy with it ... show more

This blanket definitely exceeded my expectations. The temperature control is great. Keeps me nice and toasty on the cold days. Super soft. I just st want to cuddle with this blanket all day. I’ve had this blanket for over a year, and loved it. The heating function works great, and it was my best friend in the winter. But… I just washed it for the first time, following the washing instructions, and air dried it. First time I tried to use it after washing it. It doesn’t work. It doesn't get very warm until reaching number 6 on the dial. Other than that it's perfect. A little over half way on the controller.
