I picked these up as a self heating eye mask I could toss in my bag for days when I am staring at screens too long or feel a migraine coming on, and they have earned a permanent spot in my bag. Each one heats up quickly on its own, no microwave or plugging in required, which makes them genuinely convenient to use anywhere. The warmth is gentle rather than intense. This is not a scalding hot compress, it is more of a soft, steady warmth that feels relaxing over tired eyes without being uncomfortable. I usually reach for one during a work break or right before bed, and it is an easy way to build in a couple minutes of relaxation during a busy day. You get a large quantity in the box, which matters because these are disposable and meant for one use each. Having that many on hand means I am not rationing them or saving them for only the worst headache days, I can use one whenever I actually want a break for screen fatigue or dry, tired eyes. If I had to name a drawback, the heat only lasts a limited amount of time, so do not expect a long soak like a reusable compress. For a quick reset though, that is honestly plenty. These actually do work well. They heat quickly and stay warm for far longer than the advertised 15-20 min. Mine was still going strong after 30. I got quite a lot of them in multiple packages. It was a good value. I like that it’s one big piece with part of the cover that pulls apart to loop behind your ears and are quite comfortable. My only reservation is I’m not entirely sure i want whatever chemical reaction makes the heat possible near my eyes. These seem similar to hand warmers that react when exposed to the air, which I always felt wary of touching even. I would never have considered putting them near my eyes. While I’m sure they are generally safe, I sure would not want them accidentally opening on my eyeballs. The risk seems low but I find myself feeling a little wary when I use them. Anyway, if that doesn’t bother you, these work well. It is nice to have something that doesn’t require recharging and can always be in your travel bag. Overall, I’m pretty happy with them. If I continue to feel uneasy about the idea, I may convert them to hand warmers.

This has been a fantastic end of the day relief for me lately. I have not used them every day -- but on the days I have had a chance they really do help a lot. I work from home and run a side business so I am on the computer all day long and into the night so my eyes get very horribly tired at the end of the day. These are very easy to use -- just rip open the pack, lay back and put them over your eyes and and it begins its magic. It begins to get warm -- very lightly and is comfortable. I just give it the 20 minutes and I feel a ton better. While it is wonderful on my eyes it also just gets me to stop and relax a bit. Once finished you just throw it away. I really like that this comes with 35 to the pack so this will last me a couple of months before I have to order again. They come in separate packs so I can take one with me when I travel as well.

This warming eye mask works well. The heat gradually increases while wearing and lasts 15-20 mins or so. It hasn’t gotten too hot for me while using, but if you are sensitive to heat, you might want to start with a thin cloth in between the pad and your face. I like that it comes with ear pieces to wear or hands free, but if you had a larger head, it might not fit right. I also like putting it on my forehead to help with migraines without having to block my vision so I can keep doing things when wearing it. There isn’t a scent that the mask has, but it does have a slight medicinal scent that I can detect when it is my by nose, but it isn’t overpowering by any means. This is a good product to help with relaxation or an addition to your next at home spa day.

As a 66-year-old first-time user of steam eye masks, I decided to give these a try to see if they could help with my frequent dry, tired eyes and I am pleased with the results! They are simple to use: you just take one out of the foil pack, unfold it, and the material begins to warm up completely on its own. They fold open and fit around the ears, and are very lightweight. I’ve been using them daily for the past week, and they consistently stay warm for the entire 20 minutes I keep them on. Sitting back with my eyes closed while the warmth works its magic is so relaxing. When I open my eyes at the end, I feel totally refreshed and re-centered. With 35 disposable compresses in the boxes, it is a fantastic value, and the single-serve foil packs make them easy to travel with. When you're done, you simply toss the compress away. They did a great job relieving my dry eyes, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for quick relaxation and relief!

If you like heat on your eyes these are a good price to try for an at home spa night. I didn't love them as much as I hoped I would. Overall, it felt like I was using those disposable handwarming pouches on my eyes. The material just didn't feel great or soothing over my skin. Even as it got warmer it really didn't grow any softer or more relaxing. In theory these are a good idea, but to me they just didn't get warm enough to create steam and weren't soft or soothing enough to justify wanting to use them again and again.
