I bought the StealthMounts Makita Battery Holders 18v because I wanted to have battery covers like Dewalt has for their Flexvolt batteries. For some odd reason, Makita doesn't make that type of battery covers. They only have a plastic snap on cover. I took 1/4 inch plywood and cut them to the size of the stealth mount. Screwed them in and now I have solid battery covers for my loose batteries. Can I recommend them? Yes, I can! However, they should make them without the opened areas. Just solid so you can use them as battery covers when you throw your batteries in a bag for transport.

For what they are, these are about as well made as they could be. The plastic has a very quality feel, with no signs of worn out molds. The battery packs slide in and lock ultra smooth. They honestly fit the packs better than some of my Makita tools. I have no durability concerns at all.

Alone, each mount functions well. Size could have been wider to match the spacing needed to fit the actual batteries side by size. Expensive for plastic.

Been using these lightly for a few months. So far, they're amazing. Sturdy, perfect fit, and really help organize the batteries. They're mounted in a work truck that gets tossed around, but the batteries stay put. Very happy so far.
