I'm a bit of a weird one. As in, I'm a mildly autistic audiophile with ADHD, OCD, and I've developed a particular hyper-fixation on TWS-style products over the last few years as they've grown in prominence. Anyway, I've both tried and personally own several pairs of earbuds/headphones/etc. At the moment, I have: (These Between3 ANCs) Airpods Pro (2nd Gen) OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Galaxy Buds FE Pixel Buds A-Series JBL Tune Buds Soundcore Space A40s JLab Go Pop ANCs And the Soundcore Life Q30 over-ear headset I have to at least explain the fact that each audio product on that list has usually been used for a specific purpose and that purpose only (for example, the $30 JLabs are my "throwaway" earbuds that I wouldn't feel as devastated if I lost them vs, say, my AirPods or Galaxy Buds FE). Anyway, I'd seen the ads all over social media and beyond when it came to the Between3 ANCs. Naturally I didn't give them much thought at first, but I did hear out their sales pitch of having multiple drivers inside these vs your typical single 2-way woofer or dual driver design (like the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 have). Having a dedicated speaker/driver for not just mids/bass and treble, but all THREE? I will admit I was intrigued. Unfortunately at the time I could not afford their initial asking price of nearly $200 after tax, and I was also a bit hesitant given what little presence the company seemingly had. Fast forward 2 years & my friend and I were discussing our favorite earbuds and listing all of the reasons why. Somewhat ironically, he mentioned the Between3 ANCs despite not even owning a pair lol. He'd just recently tried them out at the time via a mutual friend who did have them, and he was so impressed that the experience had stuck with him. And keep in mind, this is a guy who's equally weird/autistic like me with an INSANELY picky preference for audio quality and fidelity. He couldn't stop raving about them, and I had mentioned knowing about them vaguely and having been interested in them a while back. Well, through both his obnoxious attempts of persuasion (and my own curiousity having finally peaked) I decided to go ahead and bite the bullet. I figured the worst thing that could happen is I'd just return them if I didn't like them enough. As if that was ever going to be a genuine possibility lol. The Between3 ANCs are EVERY BIT as good as everyone else (including the company behind them) says they are. The bass is powerful, full, but not muddy or incessant. The mids are equally as powerful, and make their presence known without overstepping the highs/treble. Which even said treble too is clear, crisp, and the cherry on top of what I consider to be an incredibly well balanced soundstage that absolutely NAILS the 3 main aspects of what makes music sound good. I absolutely love them. Before, I was torn between my AirPods Pro Gen 2 and OnePlus Buds Pro 2 with trying to decide which one sounded better/the most balanced to me. The former is just one of those "take them out of the case and just enjoy" whereas the latter just needs a tiny bit of tuning (and a OnePlus device to enable their LDHC codec for lossless audio) to achieve a fairly impressive sound. The Between3 ANCs are like both of them put together, and the best part is they work just as well on iOS as they do on Android. So they're truly THE earbuds to use for all of the things you could want to use them for. Discord chats and phone calls are fantastic; everyone always says the mic quality is top notch and background noise is non-existent (even if there's a lot going on in the background that SHOULD be able to be heard by others). Battery life is arguably one of the most important factors for me aside from the sound quality when it comes to a pair of TWS earbuds, and the Between3 ANCs deliver on that front flawlessly. The claimed 12-hours on a single charge on the earbuds themselves (with no ANC or ambient mode enabled) is spot on. And for earbuds that can produce this kind of sound quality, that is insane. By comparison, my AirPods Pro Gen 2 will only get 8 hours at best with no fancy stuff turned on, while the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 get closer to 9-10 give or take. The Galaxy Buds FE are around roughly 8-9 hours, with the Space A40s netting 10 hrs & the Tune Buds about 12 hrs respectively. The JLabs and Pixel Buds sit at the bottom of the pack with a meager 7 hrs and 5-6 hrs respectively (and the Pixel Buds don't even have ANC or ambient mode). So for the Between3 ANCs to offer the sound quality, multi-point connectivity (also a must have for me), AND have ANC + ambient mode with such long battery life is just hard to not be satisfied with. The last thing I'll cover is the recently mentioned ANC and ambient mode. They are good, but they're not "great". I used to think AirPods were overhyped at every turn, but after having owned the 2nd Gen Pros I cannot deny their supremacy in both ANC and transparency/ambient mode. Even with the Between3 ANCs in consideration, nothing I have owned/tested/compared has been able to surpass the level of quiet using ANC with a proper seal in your ear. Same with the transparency; the AirPods are so good in that regard it literally makes it seem as if there's not even an earbud in your ear (not to mention they were deemed good enough to be a legally acceptable alternative to hearing aids). Still, that doesn't take anything away from the Between3 ANCs. Their ANC is still more than sufficient to get the job done and enhance your listening experience in a noisy area (or if you just want to drown out the world entirely when you're alone and it's already quiet to begin with). And their ambient mode works well enough to where you don't have to take the buds out of your ears to have a conversation or be aware of surroundings when out in public. They're also very comfortable thanks to the ergonomic curvature just passed the silicone tip, which helps keep it seated in your ear for long periods without causing any soreness. If I had any complaint AT ALL, it'd be that I originally joked about the Between3 ANCs looking like Juul pods lol. But looks aside, the build quality is exquisite and comprised of premium materials. And the practical factor of this design having allowed Status to pack 3 total drivers and hefty battery cells into each earbud is enough to make me not care too much about how it reminds me of a Juul pod. I just wish they'd have at least given the charging case a little bit more love, because as it is currently I am weary a good drop or two on solid concrete will make short work of the hinge (or chip/scuff it to oblivion). Hopefully we'll get a successor model, maybe even with a metal hinge (like AirPods use) and a more resilient material for the rest of the case that's not matte plastic (which is prone to scratches and scuffs, so when those start showing up on mine I won't be super caught off guard). All in all, these are a MUST HAVE if you need TWS earbuds with extremely long battery life (either for long calls or just listening to stuff while working a 8 hr+ shift at work), you want AMAZING sound quality with real bass, mids, and highs that don't bleed over onto one another (therefore ruining the balance in sound), and you can live with the somewhat lackluster quality of the charging case. I promise you won't regret it, even if you only aim to buy them to use for something highly specific. For me I tend to leave them at home to use with my gaming PC + my phone thanks to multi-point, mainly because I don't want them to get lost or damaged. But if they were the only pair I had, I'd take them everywhere because yes, they're THAT good (which can't be said for ALL of the ones I listed previously). The price can be a bit steep, so if that's the only big thing holding you back then I'd recommend waiting for them to go on sale (right now they're only $150 vs $180 if I recall). Don't let the design of the earbuds turn you away though! These are fantastic! And their companion app is on both iOS and Android and you get the same experience regardless of which phone you use!

As someone who purchased these the first time directly from Status via an Instagram Ad, then got a 2nd set via warranty, a replacement earbud during the 2nd sets warranty & just purchased a 3rd set due to destroying the LH earbud literally yesterday (at the time of writing this review). I have put these headphones through the ultimate daily tests and they continuously hold up. I have purchased these at $175 on promo at the time of original purchase and $99 recently during a Lightning Deal. This is not a paid review, nor have i received any free product for a review. I purchased these the first time in 2024, after being disappointed with my AirPod Pro2's and wanting something more "audiophile" and less IOS integrated. Immediately, the sound quality of these headphones was stunning: Crystal clear mid & high frequency sound with a pronounced bass response and depth. After some light tuning through the App & different music platforms, i was hooked. For the physical test: I use these headphones from 8-5 pretty religiously, generally with just one earbud at a time. All sets i have had have at least a 7-8hr battery life on a single headphone with Transparency mode active and volume at around 40% bouncing between calls & music all day long. From sweaty workouts, daily sweat at work, occasional rain & water, these headphones truly lasted through everything i put them through. As for the warranty, the first set i had the screens covering the drivers fell out (assumedly the adhesive failed) and i reached out to Status via email with pictures asking for replacement screens. Well, Status went a step above and fully warrantied the set and sent me a brand new, replacement set free of charge. I was grateful for the screens to be sent free of charge, but never expected that resolution! After about 7 months on the new set with even heavier workout sweat and through the summer months, i took a headphone out and wiped it off and the entire earpiece came apart. I reached out again to Status, had a slight back-and-forth about warranty on the new vs warrantied set and they sent me a replacement earbud. I was ecstatic for this result, and noticed something cool about the new earbud: It was Generation 2 for the 3ANC, and they had improved the screen designed to be reinforced and more securely seated. Not only had they acknowledged the issue, but also redesigned the earbud. Yesterday i happened to destroy the LH earbud of this set and had to just order a whole new set, and the Generation 2 3ANC has all of the updates we had spoken about, and i can't wait to break the new ones in. Warrantable Failures - I feel like noting what warrantable failures i had is necessary, However, please be mindful that Status has been very proactive & receptive in addressing these issues, and are now on the ProX model and Gen2 3ANC headphones. First set had the screens fall out covering the drivers, due to adhesive failure. 2nd set (and technically both sets, as all earbuds had this same issue) both earbuds at one time or another had the adhesive holding the main in-ear portion, when wiping off after workout, fail & i super-glued them back along the fastening line and made them all reusable. For daily use with workouts, work, sleep, gaming, etc with 100+ hours in every 7 day period this was a perfectly acceptable failure, as most headphones fail long before with less use. All-In-All, just buy these headphones. You'll never be disappointed.

After a month of about an average use of 4 to 5 hours daily use. I have no problems with the product. So far nothing falling apart, the ear cushions are same as most. But the comfort of these ear buds are great. My ears do not fit most well for comfort for me, but these fit just fine with the small ear tips. Audio is crazy good. Bass sounds awesome, and with no treble distortion on loud volume lvls, I usually use on an android unit max before they sound a little stress, distortion, around volume lvl of 120. If I use my separate EQ app, I lower it down to about 80-90. But that is for my preference. The touch pad is just sensitive enough, no accidental ghost input. Might give a more thorough update later if I remember. But I have got to say, I bought these on sale, even though it was about $30 more than the SkullCandy 360, But the build, sound and fit is worth the price. My 360's didnt last long.

These are really great. Bought these to replace my slowly dying AirPods until I lost them camping. The noise cancellation works really well and the sound quality hasn’t dipped since I purchased this back in April 2025. Leaps and bounds better than apple AirPods. However I did drop these a few time and sometimes the back would seperate but it would usually snap back in place. It wasn’t until September 22 of this year that the battery had expanded and completely separated itself from the housing. These are great for everything but they’re not the most durable however they do what they say they do. For what you pay for I think it’s totally worth it for the sound quality and longevity of the battery life per each ear phone. If your curious what they look like on the inside boy do I have the picture for you. The case itself seems to be put together with small plastic tags and some glue.

After years of store-bought mediocre $50-$70 earbuds, I finally decided to get some premium earbuds to use at work since we're allowed to have one in while we're working. I looked around and ended up landing on these ones. I paid $180 for these earbuds, and they sounded great...until they didn't. I bought these earbuds about 7 months ago. I really liked the sound quality, especially for the price I paid. The 3 separate drivers helped everything sound really clean and clear, and the driver dedicated to the lows sounded really good with the electronic music I listen to, especially after I customized the app's equalizer to my liking. However, the app is the first of the many problems I ended up having with these earbuds and the general user experience I've had with them since purchase. I have 2 main issues with the app: it's 1, very barebones and pretty much only exists to let you use the equalizer for them, and 2, doesn't let you change the equalizer or even change the saved custom settings without both of the earbuds being connected. Given that I only use these at work, having to have both of them connected to change the settings was very inconvenient and annoying, not to mention that it made it more difficult to keep doing my job while I just want to quickly change the EQ settings when I start listening to different genres of music. The issues I have with the app can be forgiven, but what can't be forgiven is that the left earbud, the main one I use, started sounding a little staticy after only 3 months. At first I thought I was just going crazy, but after putting on the other earbud and listening at the same time, I easily noticed at that point that one of the drivers of the left earbud was likely already blown out. I listen to my music a little more loudly than the average person, but I never had it maxed out on the volume. These are easily the most expensive earbuds I've bought, and all of the ones I've had in the past have lasted way longer, some even still working just fine today, then these at a fraction of the cost. Somehow though, the issues I've had with these earbuds have only gotten worse over time. About a month ago, I started having general connection issues with these earbuds. They've started to like to stay connected to my phone even when I put them back in their case, and lot of times I have to manually go to my phone's Bluetooth settings just to disconnect them from the device. Even then, they don't always charge now. I clean them and the case semi-often while making sure that the connecting pins and area in the case to charge them is clear, yet they don't always charge anymore. Recently I had them in their case over an entire weekend, only to take one out, connect it and immediately be notified of a low battery warning for the earbud. The most recent new issue I've had with them is that a lot of times I'll put them in the case for a few minutes, just to put one back in and it not change the volume of the earbud even when my phone says it's changing the volume. This issue only gets fixed when I, again, go to my Bluetooth settings and manually disconnect and reconnect the earbud. All in all, I REALLY wanted to love these earbuds, and did for the first few months, but I spent a premium price for "premium" earbuds only to start having issues a few months in, and it's only gotten worse since then. Maybe I just got unlucky and got a defective pair, but based on the experience I've had with these earbuds, I can't recommend these to anyone.

The Status Beyond 3ANC advertise audiophile sound quality, class leading noise cancellation, and transparency mode. They also include six microphones for enhanced call quality. These features can also be had for less than most competing products. While all this sounds well and good, it doesn’t necessarily mean much unless the earbuds deliver. Personally, I think they are quite good if you can get them for a substantial discount. If not, consider the mainstream competitors. Pro: + Comfort. Despite their large size, the earbuds are light and comfortable. They are easy to adjust and stay in your ear without issue. + EQ. App offers equalization adjustments on IOS and Android with noticeable effects on sound. + Battery Life. 8 - 12 hours depending on ANC. + Build Quality. The case and earbuds seem like they are well built. + Connectivity. Bluetooth connectivity was flawless and connected to my pc and phone quickly every time. Neutral +- Sound. First of all, make sure you have the proper ear tips installed before assessing the sound on these. It can be deceiving if you really have a proper seal or not. Once you do, you’ll notice a really dynamic and clear sound signature. They’re impressive on first listen, but fairly fatiguing after that. The standard sound signatures are too bright for my taste, but you can attempt to eq it more to yours. +- Controls. Hybrid mix of physical and touch buttons. Fairly intuitive, but the physical buttons are small and touch controls are somewhat finicky (like most I’ve used). Cons - Noise Cancellation. While not terrible or the worst I’ve used, it was underwhelming to say the least. These are advertised to be class leading, but I find it hard to believe. I have other wired, non noise canceling earbuds, that have better noise isolation than these with noise canceling on. This works more effectively on low frequency noises than mid and high ones. - Transparency Mode. Initially I found this to be very effective and well implemented. Voices came through sounding natural and it made it a lot easier to hear your surroundings. The problem is that in quieter environments a significant amount of white noise is also added into the mix. This can make it really annoying to use in this use case. -Other Noises. During my time with these earbuds I’ve noticed more operational noises than with others. When pausing music you can hear a significant amount of white noise in the background. There also seems to be various desync issues with the buds where you can hear the delay temporarily between the two. Volume also seems to be wonky and is not consistent when adjusting up or down. This is something I’ve never experienced in any other product. - App. Simple, but a bit clunky to use. You need to reconnect your earbuds to the app each time you connect it to your device and it takes a bit of time to do so. I would have liked to see customization of the controls here and maybe more granular control of noise cancellation and transparency mode. - Call quality. I tested the call quality of these versus several other wireless earbuds and headphones I own and was disappointed. Once again, this was an advertising point for the product and the end result was underwhelming. Recordings sounded muffled and somewhat quiet. People on the other end of calls noted this as well and actually stated that earphones costing a sixth the retail cost sounded clearer.

I just got these today and let me start of by saying.... DAMN!!! I was using Anker's Soundcore Life P3s for a CO pleasure years till they just got old and worn out. I loved those earbuds. During my search for the "best earbuds with EQ app" I came across these in a couple different Reddit threads and audiophile website reviews and comparisons. I was trying to decide between these and Sony WF-1000XM5s. I wanted a set of earbuds that has good bass but not muddy. Everyone was saying the Sony's were good for bass but muddy. Everyone was saying the 3ANC were damn good and cost less. I took the risk and got these. Well.... Compared to any other earbuds I've ever had, these are absolutely the best! I'm very picky with my EQ settings and I tune to get my perfect soundscape. These earbuds with the Status app deliver everything I wanted and needed! Absolutely worth the price! I'd even pay more! I mean I was about to drop $300 USD on the Sony's. I am very happy with the options on the app to tune these. And they have 3 drivers! So the highs and mods don't get drowned out by bringing up the lower end of the frequencies up. The sound is powerful and amazing for earbuds! I love the modern look of these as well... If you're reading this to try and decide on a set of buds, I highly highly recommend these! I'm thinking about trying the over ear sets they have also. Just have to wait for next month (current date: 27 Feb 2024). The VA doesn't pay us veterans much to be able to splurge often. Hahahaha Ok, for the details... Music and calls are very precise and the sound is rich right out of the box. The call clarity is great! I called my GF to see how I sounded on her side of the call. (The call quality on the Soundcore buds was sub par mainly because of how old they were.) She told me she could hear me and understand me so much better compared to my old buds. I tested the sound with several different tone test tracks through YT music and damn... Let me tell you... These buds just hit you with excellent tonality! Lows areextremely rich and deep. Highs are crisp and beautiful. And the mids are right there and not washed out by the other tones. I then played some Nin Inch Nails, Mudvayne, The Crystal Method, and I can hear all the intricate sounds of the separate instruments and the voices came through so perfectly! (Y ah, I'm a metalhead \m/ lol) Watching YT vids was so much better compared to any other buds I've had. The set up is quick and easy. Just take them out of the charging case (which was already at 90% charge.) keep in mind there's protective film on the charging surfaces on the buds themselves. You have to take that off and let the buds charge up for a few minutes. I only had them in the case for maybe a minute to charge enough gh to pair them to my phone (Pixel 7 pro). I had no problem with that. The app is easy to navigate and a very welcome addition to the entire listening experience. It has toggles for ANC, and sound passthrough. The ANC is excellent. The sound passthrough is the best I've had on any buds. I was able to stay aware to my surroundings even better than I was expecting and without it sounding like it was being processed through a cheap mic and played back. It sounded very natural, and a bit amplified. Perfect for me. Get these!!! Unfortunately this has to be an honest review and here it is. Ive had everything from Jabra elite 75t's to the sony link buds and even just the 7hz zero2's and i will say these inbetween 3's definitely have some good sound quality..... unfortunately thats kind of the only thing they have going for them. The noise cancelling is on par with some budget Skullcandy earbuds,the hear through is absolutely mediocre in a way it does good but cant pick up your own voice so it sound like you're talking with earplugs in while hearing everything else somewhat clear and as soon as a loud sounds comes in it completely cuts all sound for a good full second. The fit i kind of knew was gonna be terrible but its so much more disappointing they fit very secure but it always feels like they're gonna fall out even though they're very secure, also for some reason the ear tips hurt and ive even tried putting a good pair i know for sure fit snug for me. Theres no auto stop when you take the ear buds out and the microphone is on par with a mic on a pair of wired earbuds....if i had to say something good about these i would say the sound is amazing absolutely shocking how good it is, i like the user interface audio its very unique and calming no matter what it is, i like the way the buds operate such as the noise modes being controlled with a physical button while the music controls are touch and finally they let you use each earbud independently which is a highly underrated feature. other than those few pros these need a huge redesign, did i mention you can't track these either...if im paying over $100 for earbuds i better be able to find them if i leave them somewhere or they get stolen.....2 out of 10 because while these were highly disappointing again the sound is amazing but unfortunately i don't just care about sound quality
