We love these monitor stands. I searched for all options and selected this one because the distance between the two mounts was the largest I found, so I ordered one. I was impressed with the quality, and the cable management, so I ordered three more so all of our desks in the office match. On the second order one of the connections was stripped and would not tighten. The company was great to deal with and quickly sent a replacement part. I highly recommend this product. The only thing missing on this product is the ability to easily adjust the height of the monitors... that is not an easy adjustment. ... show more

Larger than most helps get the right angle and depth. Well made. Only thing I don't like is you see the bottom of the V where the arms meet. Should be more of a T than a V to hide behind monitors. Mount works well with dell monitors recessed mount.

Used the grommet mount to mount two ASUS VG248QE monitors. It fits them perfectly, but I wouldn't go much bigger. The mount is stable and sturdy with no signs of it settling or drooping anywhere. Product page says this supports a weight of 30lbs per arm. this is simply not true. a 25 lb monitor caused the whole mount to shift and come loose at the base clamped to the desk. no matter how much we tightened the clamp it did not support the weight. I would be surprised if this would support 30 lbs in total, but certainly not each arm. Very dissapointed as I love startech cables/adapters. ... show more

Capacity: Desk Mount - Pass-thru USB & Audio Style: Full Motion Spring Arms
This dual monitor mount is one heavy-duty assembly. Some assembly is required for the desk mount, but it was very intuitive and easy with the supplied tools. This unit requires about a 2-1/2" clearance underneath the back of the desktop so the clamps have deep enough place to land, and it works best if the back side of the desktop is square. The instructions say it will accommodate 30" monitors up to 15 pounds each, so it's fully capable of handling my 27", 9.7 pound monitor. The arms are well engineered to have tension adjustments at most of the joints. One thing the instructions didn't mention is that the mounting brackets that attach to the monitors are directional. There is a small ramp built into the part of the bracket that slides into the arm, and this ramp needs to be toward the top of the monitor when attaching the bracket to the monitor. Cable routing is clean as long as your cables are long enough to reach your computer. There are cheaper solutions available, but this unit seemed well designed and robust, definitely upper end. ... show more

The StarTech Dual Monitor Mount with Built-in USB and Audio Pass-Through is a slick mount. I've installed and used many different mounts over the years and this is amount the best. It is also quality made and well thought out, something that StarTech has been doing with so many of their products. The install was fairly simple and on par with other monitor arms/mounts that I've experienced. Fairly easy and a project that will likely take you about twenty minutes. Possibly thirty if you have never done it before. The audio and USB pass-through is pretty neat, however, I wish the ports were a little more recessed to help hide the connections. The cable management of the arms is pretty nice. The motion of the mount is very fluid and smooth. There is plenty of adjustability and the unit feels very strong and secure overall. ... show more
