  • They worked very well
Initially I purchased these to use in a case but then I noticed these were only 1/4" long whereas the ones in the case were 3/8" long, so I set these aside and as luck would have it I had an opportunity to work on another case that used 1/4" standoffs, but they were not made of brass and 3 were stripped. Startech to the rescue. With these on hand I was able to solve the problem and get on with the build. I wish all case manufactures standardized on one height and one screw pattern but that might be asking for too much in this day and age. ... show more

  • 6-32 standoffs
These Are a Must Have! Well Made Good For Anything! I Even Use Them To Mount My Case Fans So I Can Use Different Color Thumb Screws Instead Of The Boring Regular Philips Screws Just Make sure of the 1:correct length you need, 2:correct thread type, and size. these are 6-32 threads, not m-3, m-4 (m= metric FYI) ... show more

  • Theyre alright and work fine
These work well, but would be better if the male threads were shorter, a little longer than half their current length, would be great. The reason being that these barely hold any torque, and having the long threads just increases the likelihood of them getting in the way. In my use case, I had to grind down the threads in order to stack them. ... show more

  • Great quality
I bought these for a new computer I was putting together. Glad I did. The BeQuiet case came with standoffs but 4 of them were too loose and didn't receive the screws. I replaced all the standsoffs with these Startech standoffs and everything fit perfectly. Highly recommended just in case you need them! ... show more

  • they're cheap
they're cheap and that's what I like. You can tell they're cheap by 2 things: the color is more bronze-ish instead of gold and 2: they unscrew pretty easily. You need to tighten these with pliers otherwise they will unscrew while loosening the other screws. The male threading is slightly longer than some other ones too. Otherwise they work pretty well ... show more

  • Larger than normal ATX standoffs
Appear to be high quality but they do not fit a Thermaltake Versa hellfire midtower Atx case. The standoffs are twice as big as the ones that came with the case. They do not fit into the predrilled holes at all and could not be used.

  • Screws NOT included.
Well, they are standoffs, which is what I needed. However, they do NOT include the screws. I had assumed they did and its my fault for not paying attention to detail. Although I do find it messed up they aren't included.

  • Exactly what's needed in a standoff
Though there's not a lot of complexity in brass motherboard standoffs, they have to be very consistent in manufacture, and done to spec, namely: * All male threads work * Each hex head is the same exact length * All female threads work * 15-pack has 15 These characteristics are all true for this, so it's as good as it can be. I check them ahead of time since finding out the hard way while you've got a motherboard in your hands, halfway mounted in the case, but you're stymied because one is cross-threaded, is just not a good situation to be in. No complaints, and I'll re-order as needed. ... show more
