  • They work
These do protect the door trim from slobbery dogs. I wasn't interested in sticking the velcro to my nice door trim so they rely on the little plastic tabs that go between the window and seal. It does mean i can't really put those windows down because putting them back up causes the tabs to come out and the cover to fall off. But they blow around with the window open anyway so i typically don't use the windows with them. ... show more

  • Affordable door protection
After 1 trip in my new car, my dog had already made marks on my beautiful interior with his big ol’ feet. I already had my seats protected but didn’t know there was something to protect your doors. Thought I would try these as they were fairly inexpensive and they work very well. They fit my doors nicely and seem to stay in place when rolling the windows up or down. The marks from his Freddy Krueger claws are now on these protectors and not my door. A definite success! ... show more

  • Easy install-Revised
The lady that marked these down a star because "the center tab doesn't fit" (even though admitting it may be the window mechanism design-which is doubtful), so she probably didn't try to finagle this in at all. I had a tab that seemed to not want to cooperate, so I just raised the window a tad and worked it in. You have to be smarter than the door protector. In my case, it appeared the door window seal was just that snug. I had an earlier cheaper brand version of this that worked very well in protecting the door panels from exuberant paws. Sadly, I rolled the window too far down in town and once on the state highway, it got sucked out of the window. Like many, I don't want to use the "Velcro" tabs, which would surely work very well, and contrary to apparently popular belief, will not damage pleather, plastic or leather and can be removed- it's just the hassle of cleaning up the residual adhesive properly. Then in the Sonoran heat, you generally want to avoid any internal adhesives in the blazing desert sun. It tends to turn such adhesives into a slimy goo. The added bonus here is the pockets. Too bad they are all so small. I'd suggest two of them made into on 'hammock' mesh pocket plus the remaining small pocket to be more practical and useful (too small for a medium sized dog dish), but they can hold the small umbrella and spring water bottles that I carry, and the additional weight should help to anchor these covers down Giving this five stars as it appears durable, but will adjust the review if this proves different-which I doubt. Revision: Feb 22, 2021. I opened the door and two full 16.9 spring water bottles and a mini umbrella (very light weight) proved to be too much. I opened the back door and the Door cover hit the ground, spilling its pocket contents all over the gravel. I initially had taken the time to insert the tabs as best as could be accomplished. Inspecting the tabs closely, I realized that the cloth strips (you can see something of these in a couple of the images) used to hold the tabs in place are made of stretch fabric, secures only at each end of the tabs. This seems to be a direct, contributing factor in allowing the tabs to slip out. I will see if using a strong epoxy glue to secure that stretch fabric to the tabs for their entire width helps. I am very disappointed that as is, these pockets won't stay in place with two bottles of water plus the few ounces of that compact umbrella. I paid all this extra money for covers -with pockets for 'convenience' that turned out to be inconvenient and work no better than the ones that cost $4.00 or so each. ... show more

  • Works fine
They stay in my windows well, yet do come down every so often. Definitely with the tape they wouldn't come down, just don't think I want to go that route, and I don't mind putting them back in every once in awhile. Durable material, definitely needed for my car and pup, fits my 2021 rav4 perfectly and i'm glad I got these! ... show more

  • Great, but doesn’t stick to leather that well
Easy to set up. However, it doesn’t like to stick to leather for a long time. Had to redo the Velcro a few times. But still works for trips with the dogs.

  • Great for short rides
We used these to drive 18 hours. While they stood up to my dogs I kept having to fix it or put them back in the window because they would fall out. I didn’t want to use the Velcro on my doors cause it is a new car so I assume that would make them sturdier. Overall they did what they needed to and protected my doors from scratches and dirt ... show more

  • Works well but sometimes comes out
These work well when they’re in the window sill but my dogs can knock them off and then they don’t stay in

  • Work well even without fitting perfectly for my car
They work well. The mesh kind of ripped, but didn't care for mesh pockets. Extra plastic sliders are great, I lost 1 and wash one by accident. Got like 10 extras still. Plastic bowed from washing, but just flip it if it wasn't a folded crease. If they crease they are done for they will break. They don't retain much water so they hung to air dry. Based on my car (BMW x3). They don't fit perfectly, but get the job done as a full door cover. The Velcro didn't last long. In my car I can only use 2 of the 3 holders to the window. The 3rd is off by a small bit, so the spacer on my window keeps this one from sliding down. I used the Velcro to hold that 3rd spot which came off the cover. The two hold them in place just fine. Don't roll window all the way down. The plastic holders can slip out without the window holding them in place. I do push them back down daily, when I roll window up they do come out a bit. When not hauling my dog I store them in the door compartment. They fold perfect to the tabs, 3 folds then in half and fit nicely into my door compartment without having to wrestle the plastic out of their holders. I will buy another set eventually, but they are holding up nicely and automatically keep my dog from putting his paws on the doors to stick his head out the window. ... show more
