Bought three rolls of this to rotate my horses and cattle to different fields and keep them from jumping over the fence. They only would touch the poly tape once and stayed far away from it after that. I like the blue and white colors because it’s the most visible for horses color spectrum

    • A trick to make it work for turkeys
I cannot rate this for durability yet. it has been up only a week. Does it stretch and sag? deteriorate from Florida sun and heat? I do not know yet. I set up two strands for turkey containment. It had plenty of voltage available, but the hen tried to eat it with no ill effect and the tom squeezed slowly between the strands without the slightest flinch- twice! I think their feet do not conduct well enough to provide a ground path. I appear to have solved the problem by adding a ground wire below the first strand and between the energized tape strands. That way, they complete a circuit through feathers instead of feet. I think you will not need a ground rod at the charger using this system, which will pay for a roll of wire. ... show more
