Very easy to apply, the 22oz spray bottle was enough to completely saturate my convertible top. After the recommended 5/6 hours to not use our expose to water the convertible top had a way nicer appearance and exhibits some amount of sheen now. I've yet to water test it, but based on appearance, I wouldn't doubt capability. (This will sound dumb unless you have experience with marine equipment) ... show more

I used this product to treat my new nylon golf cart cover. It took exactly 1:2 a bottle, so I waited a few days and applied a second coat. The product is very watery and I had to use a microfiber cloth to rub it in as it was dripping down the nylon cloth. The microfiber cloth actually seemed to help coat the cover better working the spray into the service. After drying the cloth had a nice even sheen with no drip marks. I have used aerosol products before and this trigger spray product puts a lot more product on the surface. I highly recommend Star Brite waterproofing spray. This stuff is great for rewaterproofing your canvas convertible top. I have a 1998 BMW 328i that would leak terribly when it rained, like to the point where it would constantly drip on the drivers shoulder. And I live in Florida so it rains a lot. But after applying this and leaving it to dry overnight the top is now completely water repellent. Update after a week: even after a big rain today she’s completely dry on the inside. Photos show after hours of rain the top is still repelling water. Compare the last photo of an untreated section to the previous photo of the same section that’s been treated. Excellent USA made product. I cleaned top with soap and water( allowing it to dry thoroughly) and then applied 2 bottles of the water proofing. Top looks like new. Haven’t had it out in the rain yet as I’m letting it dry completely. Soaks in evenly and no spotting or discoloration. Great so far. Audi is gone and this repellent made canvas look like new. I use this on all my vehicle interior cloth or floor carpet. Just don’t get on vinyl or leather. Excellent product far exceeded my expectations. I’ve been using it for years.
