I use this in a 66/80 cc motorized bike with air cooled engine and it has outperformed ordinary oils for air cooled engines. I also notice less fowling on the sparkplug. Don't let anyone tell you this won't work in an air cooled engine I've been using it for a year now and won't go back. I use a 20:1 ratio in the bike. I'm not sure how well this would work in a chainsaw, but it works great in the bike. I normally would have changed piston rings three times by now. I took the piston out to inspect it the other day and it still looks like new as well as the rings. I was shocked. ... show more

This & Lucas 2 stroke oil is by far the BEST of the TC-W3 rated oils you can use in your older 2 stroke outboards. When properly tuned you can actually SEE the difference in color on your spark plugs when compared to factory recommended oils. Tis stuff runs CLEAN & the spark plugs look like they came out of a 4 stroke motor when pulled for inspection. No smokey clouds with this oil. WINNER !!! ... show more

Just started using this oil in my older 200 hp 2 stroke mercury out board so time will tell and this is why I gave a three star rating. Hopefully it works as good as all the reviews I've read says it does. This item is at a good price just hope I don't have to pay more later for repairs.
