I recently had to attend training and our army issued duffel bags did not fit all my equipment, not even close. I also wanted to bring extras of some of our gear so I found myself in a predicament. Do I carry 3 regular duffel bags or just this 1 gigantic beast of a duffel. I decided to give this one a try and my god did it fit the bill! The bag is tough as nails. I had to lug it around various airports, buses, and barracks bays and I never noticed any of the stitching tearing or fraying. When fully loaded it was over 80lbs and moving it around was pretty awkward but that's hardly the bags fault. In theory it should be simple to move 2 of the handles but when wearing a fully loaded ruck sack on my back, and a front loaded assault pack, I didn't have the freedom of movement to grab either of the handles on the ends so I just had to carry it from the central handle. And again, that handle didn't rip or fray at all despite the heavy load and constant tossing and pulling. I wouldn't recommend flying with this bag as it's a pain to carry around an airport. But I'll def use it again when just moving things into a vehicle from the comfort (and short distance) of my garage. All my buddies called it my body bag and joked about my being a serial killer as the only reason to need a bag this massive. Being a Soldier, this kinda thing amuses me but do be prepared for it to turn some heads. ... show more

Like everyone stated before, its a BIG BAG. Looks very durable and well made. Its probably overkill for my storage needs, but I like it. Also as state before, it doesn't come with a strap for the shoulder. Not a big deal for the price. I'm happy with my purchase. Thx.

I really didn't expect the 50 inch duffle bag to be so large. I expected it to be lengthy, after all, 50 inches is over 4 feet. However, the inside is super spacious! I can fit almost anything in there. I bought this as a way to transport my clothing and essentials to and from college when I move in/out at the beginning and end of the semesters. It fits everything I plan to bring with me. So, in that regard, it's perfect. It's very durable as well. One thing I would like to note is that, if you're going for a larger size (46 inches/50 inches) you may want to buy a strap for it. I can easily see this bag starting to slag if I carried it with just the straps alone. I will buy a strap to hook to the loops on either end of the bag to help carry it easily from point A to point B. For my money, it's perfect. ... show more

the bag is great but turned out to be too big for airplane travel and the fact that it doesnt come with a long handle makes it very difficult to move around when its full but over all an amazing bag for storage and durability is more than great . i had tie half of it to make it smaller for a 24 hour travel 2 flights, was dragged for probably 15 hours and looks brand new. ... show more
