Good purchase
Great buy for the price. I originally thought it was too small for my stand but it just needed to be stretched out. Nice material, beautiful color and design. Kids and grandkid love it

Inexpensive relaxation
Had this hammock for a month now and use it a few times a week. It's great for short naps and you can't beat the price. I'm using it on a 20-year-old 15-ft hammock stand the looks exactly like the "Best Choice Products Hammock Stand" you can find on Amazon. It hangs fairly low on this stand. During the two or three uses, it stretched a bit (not enough to drag the ground) and needed to be re-adjusted, but hasn't needed any adjustments since. I bought 0.306-inch x 3.0-inch stainless S-hooks to attach it since it didn't come with any hardware. They work great and are wide and smooth and don't cause any chafing that could eventually lead to breakage. I use it on a covered patio so it doesn't get sun or rain, but the holes inside the wood spreaders aren't very smooth and chafing will eventually cause the ropes to break. The Phoenix weather makes is usable only from October through April and I'll store it inside out of the heat in the summer. I'm not expecting it to last more than 2 years with the use I'm giving it. I guess time will tell. Update January 10, 2015: I've had this hammock a whole year now. It stayed outside on the patio from November to May. I put it away in May and brought it back out in late October and it's still outside. I haven't had to adjust it again for sag/stretching, which is a good thing. The ends of the rope that are wrapped around the loops where it hangs came unraveled on both sides, but it was simple to correct. I did notice chafing of one of the very outside ropes right where it goes through the wooden spreader. Not enough to be concerned about, yet. Update: September 16, 2020: I've had this for over 6 years, but it's only been used very lightly for 4 seasons. I'm surprised it's held up so well, but it's not like new by any means. The unraveling near the ends is really common now, and the chafing has become worse, too, but no strings are broken. The wood spreaders have warped just slightly. Additional stretch has also been minimal. It does collect dust like any cloth hammock and since it's not easily washable, you need to shake it out frequently to help reduce the dust build-up.

... back and bought a second one because I'm so pleased with the first one I got
I came back and bought a second one because I'm so pleased with the first one I got. I worry that when it wears out I won't be able to find a single hammock like this for such a great price. The colors are vibrant and have stood up well to sun exposure this summer. I do take it in when it rains. I know the hammocks that are trendy right now are the camping ones. Folks, those are intended for camping and sleeping in, not for just hanging out in. When you get in one of those it's very difficult to see around because it swallows you up nice and cozy. This one, with the bars on either end, lays flat so you can enjoy the scenery. Hope this is helpful for you!

exactly what i was looking for
sturdy and comfortable. the perfect width for 1 person (or 2 small people). pretty sure the fabric is cotton or cotton-blend and it's so much nicer than the synthetic ones.

Good purchase for the money
I bought this to take on camping trips and I tested it out in the yard. My wife commented that we should've bought one years ago. It has been set up for a couple weeks now and exposed to wind and rain. One of the white support ropes has frayed and broken on one end, however it seems to still support some weight. If this thing lasts another year then I'll update the review and likely increase my rating. Update: The hammock died. It lasted most of the summer, however the support ropes continued to fray until one side completely broke. I had it set up in the yard and exposed to the elements. I intend to purchase another as the hammock was very comfortable; I figure that I'll just take better care of the next one.

This is the most comfortable thing in my backyard.
I got this for my daughter for Christmas 2013. Our neighbor had a hammock in his yard and would let us lounge in it. My daughter always wanted her own. I found this at a good price online and it is a great place to relax. I bought the blue and it's very vivid and nicely colored. The material is thick and seems very sturdy as do the ropes that hold it up. It's been rained on quite a few times since it's been up and it still looks really good. Both my daughter and me (around 180lbs total) lay in this with ease. It's definitely an inexpensive relaxing spot! Buy it if you're looking for a comfy spot to put your feet up and rock.

Totally impressed and extremely happy!!
Gotta say, the price was incredible at less than $25.00. The comfort, amazing, absolutely perfect!! I had a rope hammock needing replacement and wasn't too impressed with the comfort. I am soooooo glad I ordered this as my daughter and I fight over this because it's so perfect. There was never a fight to use the old rope hammock. Love the color and extremely happy!! Did I mention the incredible price!! Forgot thinking you need to spend over $100.00 for a comfortable, durable hammock!!
