Stanley continues to impress with color, quality, insulating properties and portability.
Color: Blaze Orange Capacity: 32 fluid_ounces
Blaze orange is closer to neon orange and boy do I love that appearance! I found that many of my purchases today are a little more thought invoked to match what I do during the day. For example, blaze orange is color I use when I take my water bottle to the gym. I can spot it from a mile away and quite quickly. I set my bottle down in places I don't even remember when I'm making my rounds through the machines, so this is perfect for that occasion. I would imagine that to be true for anyone in the field who carries water around during the day and spends a fair amount of time outdoors or on site. As far as insulation properties. . . it's a Stanley. What else needs to be said! I loaded my Wellspring up in the morning with about 2/3 ice then filled the rest with RO water and a pack of Propel. I tend to be a sipper throughout the day. It was 101 outside the other day while I was running errands. Left the house at about 9am and got home at almost 7pm. The bottle was left in the truck for the majority of the day. I still had plenty of ice when I got home and topped off the bottle with more water. By morning, the ice was gone but the water was still refrigerator cold. I can't ask for more, especially with a water bottle this light. It's perfect. With that said, the only part which might give someone with arthritic hands a challenge is the flip top. I have another Stanley water bottle with a nearly identical lid. While it's my favorite lid, it can also be the most challenging. I do have mild arthritis in my hands, so when that lid decides to stick it hurts my fingers. If I can run it under a bit of water, it helps. I don't know how Stanley can resolve that issue, but if arthritis is a big challenge for you, this may not be the best choice. I use thumbs primarily, but I just can't get enough pressure sometimes to get it open. This will not fit in a standard cup holder in your car. I have one of the expandable cup in cup holders so it works for me. I can bring a whole assortment of bottles that way. As far as portability, it's incredibly light so the weight is coming from whatever is put in the bottle, something that might also be important for weak or painful hands. 32oz hits the sweetspot for me. I rarely get through 40oz on errands, but 32oz is a better size bottle for trips to the store, gym, school. It's just an all around more manageable size for me. These types of paint coating have not really held up well for me over time, especially near the bottom of the bottle so I'm more in a wait and see mode on that. I know for sure it's getting a boot. All my water bottles get boots. That's the only thing I wish Stanley would turn into a package, rather than optional. They do on some of their signature bottles, so maybe that's the difference. Stanley puts out a nice quality set of drinkware and this Wellspring bottle did not disappoint in the least. . . . from color, size, insulating properties. . . great value overall. ... show more

Sturdy Stanley Cup With a Great Carry Handle and Nice Design
Color: Hammertone Green Capacity: 32 fluid_ounces
This is a really nice, sturdy cup from Stanley. It has a solid feel to it and seems well made. It is on the heavier side, but not so heavy that I feel it is difficult to carry around or pack with me throughout the day. I really like the comfort carry handle, which makes it easier to transport. You could also easily attach it to something using a carabiner clip to help free up your hands when you are on the go. I like the taller, slimmer design of this bottle, and it fits nicely in my car's cup holder. It is also very easy to use. The cap unscrews easily and goes back on without any issues, which is always a plus when you are using a water bottle throughout the day. The appearance and color are really nice, too. It has a distinctive look that makes it easy to spot if you set it down or have it sitting with a group of other cups and bottles. As far as hydration and temperature retention go, I have been using this primarily for water. I have not tested it with hot beverages, and I do not typically use a lot of ice, so I cannot speak to how well it retains heat or how long it keeps ice from melting. So far, it has kept my water cold, and in my experience, the temperature retention has been good. However, I do refill it almost every hour while working, so it regularly has fresh, cold water in it. Everyone uses their cups differently, so I think that is worth mentioning when considering my experience. For portability and everyday use, this has been a good option for me. It is sturdy, comfortable to carry, easy to use, and fits well in the car. I also think it would make a nice gift for someone who is always on the go. My biggest consideration is the price. This Stanley cup is on the expensive side, so you will want to keep that in mind when deciding whether it is worth the money. It is a nice-looking, well-made bottle with some convenient features, but the value will depend on what you are looking for and how much you are willing to spend on a cup. ... show more

Impressive Design, and Made to Last
Color: Hammertone Frost Capacity: 32 fluid_ounces
Yes, it's expensive, but the design and quality is impressive. You're probably wondering if it's worth the money. I'll try my best to explain what this product is like. The first thing that struck me was the design of the cap. It feels very sturdy, and the button to release the cover feels strong and durable. You have to press while sliding it downward to release the cover. The clear cover pops open and stays open. It won't flop down, because the spring is quite strong. It also won't leak when the bottle is shaken. The silicone seal does a great job of keeping liquid in. There's also a silicone seal around the screw cap. So, there are no leaks anywhere on this bottle. The other thing that impressed me was the thinness of the insulation. The bottle is double walled, but you can barely feel the thickness. The interior volume is almost as big as the exterior volume. You'd think that it wouldn't be effective, but it is. As a test, I filled it with some hot water. I couldn't feel the heat on the outside of the metal bottle. In fact, it felt cold, but the plastic cap became warm. So, the bottle is very well insulated. After an hour the water was still hot. I don't plan to use this with coffee, but you could definitely keep hot or cold liquids in it. Another thing that impressed me was the exterior paint. This bottle was not packaged in a protective bag or box. When it arrived, there was only a tiny scuff mark near the bottom where a few tiny flecks of paint chipped off. This is painted with some kind of hard enamel or perhaps powder coat. It's super durable, unlike the generic bottles that scratch easily. This bottle is dishwasher safe, so it's easy to clean. The handle is made of thick steel wire, not plastic. Also there's a metal sleeve inside the plastic cap, so the handle is meant to last. There you have it. This thing is very well designed, and made to last. The thin insulation is very effective as well. The bottle was designed in the US and made in Vietnam. Is it a good value? If you plan to use it every day, then yes, I think you'll get many years of pleasure out of it. The paint won't peel off after 6 months in the dishwasher, and you'll appreciate the thoughtful design. ... show more

Typical high quality Stanley water bottle
Color: Hammertone Frost Capacity: 32 fluid_ounces
Super durable Stanley water bottle. This is the white ‘hammertones’ frost color which gives it a textured feel. It reminds me of the classic Stanley thermos texture. This is a 32 oz bottle. I really like the look of the water bottle. It is to be noted that this bottle does not have a straw. It is made to lift up and sip out of the I particularly like this because I frequently have dental issues where I can’t use a straw. I like the carry handle at the top but it would have been awesome if it was a carabiner so you could attach it to bags easily. I am addicted to water bottles because they allow me to get my water in daily and stay hydrated, so I have tried most brands. Stanley is always close to the top of the list for performance. I saw a review that it didn’t maintain ice so I took this bottle and my go to brand (that starts with an O), and filled them both with the same amount of ice and water and used them both throughout the day. At the end of the day, they both contained the same amount of ice. The one complaint I have is the ‘slide to open’ button. It is the natural instinct to push on this button which won’t easily open it. You really have to remember to slide it. Just overall do not particularly like this mechanism to open the bottle. I would have taken off a star for this, but the fact that there is no hard to reach areas that will gather mold by being hard to clean, I think that gives it a full 5 star rating. The price is pretty typical for a Stanley product. Definitely on the higher end, but the quality deserves a higher price. Shipping was fast. This water bottle will be added to my daily rotation. Highly recommend. ... show more

Great sturdy water bottle
Color: Blaze Orange Capacity: 32 fluid_ounces
I’ve been on a bit of a water bottle kick lately, having bought an Onwala for each kid and myself. When I saw the opportunity to review this from Stanley as a comparison, I jumped at it. First off this thing is built very well. It has flat side—is not perfectly round to give an easy grip point. The color that I got is the bright orange and I absolutely love it. I think this looks amazing and is an eye catcher. The locking mechanism is very sturdy and I have no concern putting this in a bag. The flipped top is easy to engage when unlocked, and the vertical waterflow makes it so that you can drink a lot at a time and no issues with airflow. It kept my drink cold for a very long time, no issues there as expected, as it’s quality brand in Stanley. This doesn’t have a straw, which is a trade-off, but also much less to clean. If you’re looking for one without a straw, I would definitely check this out as I am truly enjoying mine. I think Stanley makes products that are a good value for the money and in my experience will stand up to abuse. ... show more

Quality thats worth the price
Color: Hammertone Green Capacity: 32 fluid_ounces
This is one serious water bottle. Justifying $45 for a water bottle is a pretty difficult concept for me to swallow, but honestly this feels like it could be the last one I ever need. The Hammertone Green color is neutral but really beautiful, and the bottle feels sturdy and solid without being overly heavy. I usually drink from a cup with a straw at home, but I do not love taking it on the go because it feels bulky and can spill pretty easily if it is anything but upright. This bottle feels much better suited for taking along in the car, carrying around, or tossing into a bag, and the small carry loop is really convenient. The latch can be a little tricky to open, but I would much rather have it be slightly harder to open than risk it popping open accidentally and spilling everywhere. Overall, this feels extremely well made, practical, and durable. It is definitely expensive, but the quality makes the price easier to justify. ... show more

It's a Stanley, so of course it's great!
Color: Hammertone Green Capacity: 32 fluid_ounces
Stanleys are hands-down the best water bottles and this one is no exception. Pros: *I really like how it has a carrying handle. We like to take long walks and hikes and an easy-to-carry bottle is a must. *Here's the most important thing for me: It keeps my water cold!!! I was using another popular brand for a while and leaving the bottle in my car when it was hot meant I came back to hot water (that squirted out the top when I opened it). *The bottle is obviously typical Stanley quality, so it's extremely sturdy and will likely last as long as it takes for me to lose it LOL. *No spillage! The opening mechanism is such that I can toss it on my seat on its side and no liquid spills out. *I think Stanleys are almost always a good value for the money spent if you want you drinks to stay cold and you want a water bottle that will last a very long time. Cons: It's a Stanley and I've never had any complains about a Stanley! ... show more

Blazin' Bottle
Color: Blaze Orange Capacity: 32 fluid_ounces
First off, love the color on the bottle, makes it easily identifiable. The size is just right and fits my oversized cup holder without issue. I removed one star due to the cap design, they latch takes a lot of effort to open - I actually was questioning if there was some hidden safety feature I'd missed. The bottle is dishwasher safe and keeps ice for a good amount of time (on par with other double walls). It is a Stanley so you'll pay a bit more, but the price is pretty on par with the other big names. All in all I am a fan of the this bottle due to it's high quality build and color but I may shop for a new lid. ... show more
