This toolbox worked perfectly to reduce storage space. Had too many extra unused tools and spare parts. It holds comfortably the hammer, which was my biggest concern. Now I have my key tools and don't need to worry about the weight of the box or how much space it will take.

This is a nice size toolbox and it would be prefect if it weren't for one flaw. The tray insert is 2/3 the width of the toolbox itself. It leaves about a 3 inch gap to the side of the tray. I'm not sure what the purpose of this is. If i'd have known about this this prior to purchase I'd never have bought it in the first place. ... show more

Very sturdy. The clasp to close it seems durable. It fits my hammer and other tools perfectly, and has a removable tray that sits on top for smaller items.

    • Not possible to make the walls any thinner
This is a nicely sized tool box, a size that is perfect for the homeowner who needs to keep a few basic tools organized and accessible. The big but is the walls of the box are incredibly thin. Saves plastic in manufacturing, I guess. As this is just some basic plastic (not carbon fiber), I believe I will have to treat it very gingerly and certainly not put too much weight in it. I'm using it for light-duty electrical and electronics tools so I guess I will keep it. But, still, a disappointment from the Stanley-named brand. ... show more
