I ordered this product via Prime shipping and received it in 2 days packaged in a large shipping box, very easy to open. The toolbox is black/yellow in color, latches open/close on the front, heavy duty handle, tray inside to organize/sort and 2 different trays on the lid to organize tiny bolts, screws, etc, made of hard plastic and the shape makes it easy to store. I purchased this toolbox for my husband to keep his tools, etc organized because now everything is in a shoe box with plastic baggies- lol! My daughter is giving this to my husband for father's day so I will update my review with his thoughts and pictures on how everything fits. UPDATE: my husband absolutely loved this gift and says it is perfect for apartment living & it keeps everything organized. Thanks for making such a great product. I definitely give this product 5 stars!

i needed something to organize cleaning stuff for guns. the top fits my brushes and other attachments. the base is very deep and holds the big stuff. the tray is capable of holding cleaner and oil. just so you know. the cleaner bottle is just a little smaller than a soda pop can in diameter and won't shut if on the ends where the pockets from the lid stick down, but the section in the middle gave enough room. the self latch is nice. i will say that the hinge is plastic. it will not be a problem for me, but if you want to load it down with lots and lots of heavy tools then maybe not. it is sturdy and would hold some weight with no issue. in this price range, it is what is needed.

One thing I like about this toolbox is that the interior dimensions are pretty close to the external dimensions given. A lot of plastic toolboxes turn out to be much smaller inside than the product dimensions indicate. I've been disappointed before when I found out a toolbox actually isn't as big inside as I thought I was getting. But not this one. The main latch works well, but it seems a little complicated to me. Not sure how it will hold up over time or adverse conditions. There are three wide hinges for the lid, so there is plenty of hinge space there, but the hinges are plastic and it feels like you could break something if you should force the lid open too far back. The tray does not take up all the space at the top. There's about a 2 1/2" gap across the width of the toolbox between the tray and the interior, so you could store something taller in the box without having to remove the tray. With the tray, I know you need room to grab the handle, but I wish there was just a little more height at the bottom of the tray under the handle so smaller items wouldn't fall through. The compartments on the lid are nice. The plastic snaps seem to close well enough, but stuff will probably fall out if the toolbox is dropped and tumbles. Overall, I'm very happy with this product.

I don't have a lot of tools but I went with the 19-inch because I wanted to be sure I had enough room for everything without having to dig around trying to find something. This is the first proper tool box I have ever owned and it is nice to finally have everything I need in one place. I used to keep a hammer and screwdrivers in a bathroom drawer, a few other tools outside in a small box in the garage, and a pair of scissors in the kitchen. I love the two top compartments with different shaped compartments on each side for various things. And the tray insert inside the box is great for things you don't necessarily want getting lost in the bottom. I haven't had issues (yet) with the thing falling in there that some reviewer described. But this will get lighter than average usage with me as I won't be lugging it around anywhere except the house. Very glad I bought this. My prior tool storage solutions were definitely not ideal.

This toolbox has an extremely well-built feel to it. It's made of decently thick polypropylene and feels like it can be kicked around and abused with no problem. The handle, and locking mechanism are excellent -- the handle is very securely attached to the lid of the toolbox, and the latch is a spring-loaded plastic catch. There is almost no play in the catch when carrying the toolbox by the handle, and I don't worry about the catch letting go while I'm carrying the toolbox. I'm not sure how I feel about the hinge; in my experience, plastic hinges like this toolbox has have a tendency to break if too much pressure is put on the hinge. This might be a problem if you're really knocking it around with the lid open, but since there isn't much storage space on the upper lid, the hinges are probably going to hold up fine to regular use. The toolbox itself is quite spacious; the storage section is about 17 inches wide by 7 inches deep by 9 inches long, with a removable tray that sits about 2 inches down. All four sides are very stiff and have almost no play in them (except the front panel, which has a little bit of a wiggle when the toolbox is open. Overall, this is an excellent toolbox for under $20
