This is a really good set of linesman pliers at a great price. The grips are not overly thick, allowing me to maneuver the pliers easily with one hand. The side cutters cut clean. These pliers should last if I can prevent from cutting any hot wires and ruining the side cutters!

This is a solid tool, especially for the price. For serious work, get a 9in or 10in version though, the extra leverage comes in handy and the thin handles do hurt after a while.

These Stanley Linesman Pliers are a great value. Stanley does still make some good tools, they aare every bit as functional as a pair of Klein pliers, but at a fraction of the price. Some people are hung up on the "Made in China" thing, well, most stuff is made somewhere else these days, and since our politicians are also the people who hold a large portion of the stocks in these companies they will continue to be manufactured elsewhere. I am all for getting the manufacture of products back inside the USA, but unless our economy takes a couple of blows from the chop axe, it is not going to happen. There isn't much to say about a pair of pliers... These are tough, and have held up well to a ton of abuse. The Handles are still completely there, there are a few knicks, but no parts missing or broken through. Properly cared for these will last longer than I will. The cutter part is still in good shape and has been abused a bit by cutting thicker cable, but it still functions without issue. ... show more

Had a pair of these for over a decade and used them frequently for all kinds of stuff. Hopefully they've kept making them the same way. Wire cutters snip most anything like a hot knife through butter. Nice sized jaws and long torquey handles make it easy to manhandle all kinds of things. They are hella cheap as well. I lost my old pai and bought a "nicer" better name brand pair and wasn't as happy with them. ... show more

I bought one pair of the linemans pliers and thought they were so good and such a great price I picked up another pair. They seem high quality afterall they do carry the Stanley name on them. I had looked around at various stores and most wanted double the price I paid here.
