I purchased the ivory color curtains for a small bedroom and they have really made it feel lighter and so much prettier. I've only just put them up and it is night and the camera on my phone does not do the rich color they are justice. I am very happy with the quality, the material is luxurious feeling and a good weight and well sewn. They stop the small draft thatcomes from that window (100 yr old house) and make the room more comfy as well as prettier. The window glass is 31" wide and I am glad I got the 52" width, the 84" falls to just above the carpet which is perfect. I love the look of curtains draping onto the floor but did not get them longer as I was worried one of our cats might decide to nap on them or something bad! They're listed as blackout drapes but after opening them, I was sceptical. They're beautiful velvet drapes, weighty but too much. Just enough that they hang beautifully. And yes, they are definitely blackout drapes. We just had a cold spell where it was in the teens at night and the room that has these hung up was warmer. No drafts felt at all when these drapes were closed. I was not expecting that. They worked better than drapes I paid 3x as much for. I'm definitely getting another pair for my guest room. I ordered these velvet curtains in olive green. They are so beautiful! The velvet combined with the ruffling at the top make these curtains look vintage and expensive. I love the way they look in my room. They are pretty thick and function well as blackout curtains. I'd say they block about 95% of the light, around the same as any other blackout curtains I've owned. The olive green has mustard/gold undertones, which looks perfect with my decor. These are great! a beautiful color green and feel like they're great quality. I love the velvet. If the sun is behind the window, you can see an orange glow behind them, which I really like, but might bother someone if they wanted 100% blackout

I ordered one pair to see the quality and absolutely loved it. Material is high end, looks amazing. But when I ordered 5 more pairs bec I wanted to have them in my living and dining the ivory shade is not the same. Some are bright and some are dull yellowish. I wish the seller can contact me further to resolve this issue else i have to return and order again in hopes of getting the right shade! ... show more

These are really great quality. I was pleasantly surprised that they were not completely wrinkled out of the package. They have nice weight to them-- I did buy weights to add just to hang a bit better I would not say they are room darkening, but they do darken the room a bit.
