  • Great price
Another affordable option for a good baby bath.

  • Best Baby tub on the market at a VERY reasonable price!!
I purchased this tub for my Grandson. He is a newborn (3 weeks old) and we used it for the first time yesterday. It was very easy to fill (we set it on the counter next to the sink) and also easy to drain (we scooted it over a little, unplugged the drain hole and let it drain into the sink) He did slide down a little in the sling because of how tiny he is, but it wasn't an issue. And as he gets a little bigger, it will fit him perfectly. I really like how the sling clipped onto the tub and is adjustable so we can keep him in the warm water but have control over how deep in the water he is. The head rest of the sling in slightly padded but not too much. The mesh is sturdy but not rough on his skin. The tub is a nice sturdy plastic. The foam on the inside is soft and smooth but not slick. When we were done, I dried the tub off with a towel and also patted the sling off. The sling was air dry within an hour. It slides under my bed easily for storage. I like that I can bathe him on the counter. I feel like I have better control over what is going on and he is safer because of it. I also don't have to bend over the side of the bathtub and sit on my knees while I bathe him. A BIG plus!! My daughter was given a different tub at her shower (that was FAR more expensive than this one!!). We really didn't like the construction and design of it and ended up returning it to the store. This tub is everything that we needed and wanted. Several other Mom's recommended this tub to us and with good reason. The more expensive tub (almost $60) was no where near as well thought out as this one nor was the construction as sturdy as this one. The other tub was also only intended for newborn and small infants. It was not made for toddlers. I would recommend this baby tub to anyone. ... show more

Perfect for my baby

  • Best tub out there!! Buy one today!!
This is the hands-down best baby tub out there. Don't let the price fool you - they could charge a whole lot more and still sell a bunch of these tubs because they are truly the best! The mesh sling is absolutely perfect for those first two months or so when baby is tiny and slippery. Fill the tub a little more than halfway and they lay very comfortably "in" the water while you don't have to worry about holding them steady with one hand and washing them with the other. This allows you to have both hands free and know that baby is safe. The little padded headrest is a nice added touch - it's not super thick but definitely is enough to cushion their little heads against the plastic. There are adjustable straps that allow you to lower or raise the sling depending on how submerged you want the baby to be. When you think baby is big enough to sit in the tub without the sling, you have several months of use still ahead of you. Our little guy got too long to stay in the sling but he was very skinny so he would slip down the seat a little bit. We resolved this issue by folding a washcloth and placing it under his bum before putting him in the seat. We absolutely LOVED this tub! We used it until he was about seven months old - at that point we felt comfortable that he could sit by himself in the big tub on a mat and not fall all over the place. The tub is great because when they get too big to lay back on the reclined seat you can turn it around and have them sit where their feet used to go. The way the seat is shaped makes it a comfortable tub for baby regardless of which direction they're facing. The only con is that there isn't a built-in hook to hang it like some other tubs have but that is such a tiny con it's barely worth mentioning. We would just turn it upside down in the tub to air dry and would run the mesh sling through the washing machine about once a week or so. It's so light that we always took it with us on overnight trips and it doubled as a "luggage" carrier. We'd put his hooded towel, washcloths, shampoo, a couple toys, etc into the tub and the whole thing would come with us so we knew he could have a safe bath wherever we were. So excited we're having baby #2 and get to pull this tubby back out! ... show more

Style: Deluxe Tub Color: Pink
ey fellow parents and caregivers, gather 'round! Let's have a real talk about The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn To Toddler Tub in Pink. This tub has been in the spotlight in our baby world, and let me tell you, it's been quite the journey. Comfort and Design: First things first, let's talk comfort. The tub's design is like a cozy nest for our little one. The shape and contouring make bath time a breeze, and the pink color? It's like a little burst of joy. From Newborn to Toddler: Okay, here's the real kicker – this tub grows with your baby. Newborn to toddler? You heard that right. It's like a magic tub that adapts to your baby's size and stage. Talk about getting your money's worth. Easy-Peasy Drainage: Oh, and the drainage system? Brilliant. No more struggling to drain the water – it's as easy as pie. And let's face it, when you're juggling a slippery baby, every little bit of convenience counts. Extras and Sling Magic: The newborn sling that comes with this tub? Lifesaver, especially in those early days. It cradles your teeny bundle while you get your bathing game on point. And when your baby's all grown, you can remove it and keep using the tub. Genius move, I must say. Sturdy but Compact: The tub's got that perfect combo of sturdiness and compactness. It's not taking up half your bathroom space, but it's robust enough to handle all those wiggles and splashes. One Tiny Issue: Now, here's the scoop. As much as I'm loving this tub, I've noticed that the plastic could be a tad smoother. Sometimes it feels a little rough, especially when my baby's delicate skin is in contact with it. Price and Value: Speaking of value, this tub is like a bang for your buck. The fact that it's a tub that evolves with your baby is a game-changer. You won't be needing to buy a new tub every few months – this one's got your back. In the grand scheme of things, The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn To Toddler Tub in Pink is like the hero of bath time. From its comfy design to its longevity, it's a tub that's worth every bubble. While I'm going with 4 out of 5 stars due to the plastic issue, it's still a bath-time essential that makes the whole process a lot smoother. ... show more

  • +++ great support for small babies; ++ fast baths; + will last for moderately-sized babies; - takes up a lot of space
With my first child, I scorned the idea of a baby bath. I ran a bath with a low water level in the regular bathtub and sat in it with her in my lap, her head on my knees and her feet against my belly. This worked great and saved the space a baby bathtub usually takes up, especially in our tiny house. Unfortunately, with my second child, I just don't have time for this everyday and so I ordered this baby bathtub. All in all, it's worked out better than I hoped. Even though my baby was a whopping 21" long at birth, I used the sling that comes with it for the first five months and it was fantastic at keeping my daughter from sliding around. She was too long to have her feet in the sling, but was comfortable enough with one foot in it and the other hanging over the edge into the tub. Now that she's 6 months, 15lbs & 26" long and can mostly sit up, she's okay sitting in the tub itself with a low water level - her feet can easily reach the foot end to kick or brace against it. I understand it has some kinds of notches cut out to fit on the rims of sinks, but that was almost useless for the sinks in my house; it fit awkwardly on the half-double sink in our old kitchen and not at all on our new Ikea bathroom sink. (I might have been able to squeeze it onto the pedestal sink in our guest bathroom, but the bathroom is so small, I didn't even bother to try it.) Most of the time I use it in the regular bathtub and and envy the people with sinks. :-) I usually just flip it over to empty, but the little plug in the bottom was handy the few times I used it in the kitchen sink so my mother wouldn't have to bend over. I also used it out on our deck on a hot day while my toddler was playing with her water table, which made for great baby water play. The little cup area at the feet seemed silly at first, but I have actually used it quite a bit. Most of the time it holds a small cup for pouring water and a washcloth or two, sometimes soap. The latest tip is that I can aim the bathtub faucet for it and pour warm water into it at a trickle; it fills up with slightly hotter water and then slowly overflows into the foot end of the main bath, a great way to keep the water warm if it starts going cold. It should go without saying, but ALWAYS monitor the temperature of the water! Perhaps the only downside still is the size. I usually prop it up to fully drain and dry at the foot of the bathtub, and then toss it out randomly on the bathroom floor until we next use it. I know my aunt figured out to prop hers up hanging on the wall over the bathtub on two hooks, which would be a good idea to try since my daughter will still be using it for another 3 to 6 months. Pros: * Easily supports slippery infants * Grows with your small wiggly one * Drain plug for easy emptying * Great for grandmothers and less nimble caregivers Cons: * Space gobbler, if you have a small bathroom * Yet Another Baby Item, to some extent ... show more

  • 4 tub review
Style: Deluxe Tub Color: Pink
I've had 4 tubs in my daughters little one year of life! In this order: 1. The First Year's Infant To Toddler Tub with Sling. Purchased on Amazon for $15.99 The First Years Infant To Toddler Tub with Sling, Pink 2. Fisher-Price Aquarium Bathtub (not purchased on Amazon) Fisher-Price Aquarium Bathtub 3. Disney Inflatable Bathtub. Purchased on Amazon for $10 Disney Inflatable Bathtub, Princess 4. Prince Lionheart FlexiBath. Purchased on Amazon for $36.94 A Real Cool World FlexiBath Bathtub, Green 1.THE FIRST YEAR'S INFANT TO TODDLER TUB W/ SLING tub was the best when she first came home a preemie at 4lbs. She fit so well in that tub! At first she would sit perfect on the sling, partially submerged in water, as she got a little heavier she would slip down a bit and I would have to put her back up on the sling, but it was not a big deal. It does have a little place to put your shampoo/soap but I didn't use, I never have because when I dry it the tub I leave the tub upside down. PRO: Baby fit very well in sling. Sling is easily removable & attachable PRO: Infant side of tub worked well for us, baby did not slip or fall CON: Tub did not have a hook to hang it from the shower rod for drying CON: Tub has two deep pockets that are hard to clean (it's a construction of the tub) You'll see what I mean if you purchase. Water inevitably gets trapped and molds. I easily cleaned with an old bottlebrush. 2.Then we moved and purchased FISHER-PRICE AQUARIUM BATHTUB. I used the sling on this one as well, and for me it worked the same. I also used the tub w/o the sling and she sat well in this tub. PRO: Tub had hook to hang from shower rod for drying PRO: Tub fit perfect in sink CON: Stopper insert on bottom of the tub molded fast! CON: Tub is a little bulky Bottom line if I had to choose between THE FIRST YEAR'S & FISHER-PRICE I'd choose the first years, it was less of a hassle to clean, and less bulky. To me the slings worked the same on both. 3. I purchased the DISNEY INFLATABLE BATHTUB thinking it'd be easy to use for traveling and visiting daddy while he was in training, but I was wrong! This tub takes up space! And it is hard to deflate at the end of every weekend when we would leave. It'd literally lay on top of it to deflate it, and then my husband would have to lay on it. So I took it home for every day use and I freaken love it!! I suggest using it when your child is a full time sitter. I used it before and it was an accident waiting to happen! I notice that she doesn't use the "backrest" at all. There was no way to use it when she wasn't a full time sitter because it was upright and not at a recline. Now that she sits up full time, and doesn't sit still it's perfect! She loves to put her toys in the pockets for shampoo, she loves to play with the backrest. When she slips or moves about she'll bump the sides hard and it doesn't hurt her because it's inflatable. She's so rough and it's the perfect tub for her! I definitely recommend!! When I'm done with her bath I just leave it upside down in the tub. It dries great. There are no spaces for mold. PRO: Inflatable, so when she slips it doesn't hurt! CON: hard to deflate CON: Takes up a lot of space, if space is an issue this is not a tub for you (I store mine in the tub) 4. PRINCE LIONHEART FLEXIBATH. I purchased this tub for everyday home use and there is NO WAY with a curious active child! The plastic is hard, and the latch the tub has is always there "begging" for my daughter's attention. The latch is hard and little sharp in some places. She always goes to play with it and there is no way to keep it down and out of sight. Because the tub is so square she always grabs onto the sides and tries to stand up (cue mini heart attack) Instead I use this to travel. It folds up very nice, you can easily put this in the bottom of a suit case, or bottom of a carry on. I usually store it between the toilet and tub. The plug in the bottom of the tub works well and is easy to remove and re-attach. PRO: Folds easily, and doesn't take up much room CON: Tubs latch is sharp and does not stay down CON: in my opinion it's not the best tub for an active & curious child ... show more

  • A BATHTUB THAT SERVED ME WELL SINCE NEWBORN TO 10MONTHS... A BATHTUB THAT SERVED ME WELL SINCE NEWBORN TO 10MONTHS...
this is so crazy but believe me when i say it, i have been using this tub ever since my LO was a newborn (she is now almost 10M). the main reason why we purchased this tub was 1) it had a lot of great reviews and 2) because our house ONLY has a working stand up shower. and i can honestly see why this is best moms pick and have so many great reviews bc i love and depend on this so much during bath time!! i will seperate this by months of baby! NEWBORN: i love the sling in the bath. it's easily removable and easy to clean. after every bath i would just wring out the leftover water and hang to dry. no mold from the foam at all! there's also like a tiny bucket/container inside the bathtub which gives me easy access to her soap or wet cloth. 3-4MONTHS I hate to admit but i was still using the sling at this time. i had a constant struggle where my daughter would slip sideways on the tub without the sling (only bc she wasn't able to sit up on her own yet). even though she was obviously way too big for it, just for safety, i still used the sling. her legs would be dangling out of the bathtub and her arms would flare out everywhere but it was still good! baby never rolled out of it and never came across a issue of sling breaking/tearing. or the baby being uncomfortable. 5-7MONTHS so around this time, we finally took out the sling. also around this time, my daughter started to splash, tried to roll over and kept trying to eat the water. but a few toys in there helps a lot to keep her in control. there's also a more slouched position and a more upright (at the other side of the tab). at first i didn't notice it and just thought the different dents in the tub was so that it could fit on top of a sink. but nope!!! the design of this tub was so well thought of that they included a more upright position for your baby to bathe in when she's older. so awesome bc my daughter started to not like the more slouched position around 7-8months (only bc she's a very active baby and wanted to be more mobile during bath time). 8-10MONTHS my LO is a very and i mean a VERY active baby. i have caught her numerous times to climb out of the bathtub!! it happens to often that i constantly grabbing her and repositioning her back inside the tub. also, she is a long baby so her legs get cramped a lot in the bath. even though i would love to keep using his bath, i sadly have to let it go around this time... overall, this bathtub is amazing and it's truly a bathtub to keep throughout the first year of your LO (unless your LO is as active as mine haha). i'm sure if my baby wasn't so free spirited or active, i would use this all the way till she was 1. but for now, i have to look into a bigger tub. i can't believe how much i got out of this tub in he last 10M...(and with only spending less than $20!!!!) i will definitely recommend this tub to all my newly pregnant friends and will probably purchase again for the next baby!! ... show more
