It works and is a good way to use the Starlink antenna without having to mount it on the roof (and probably get a visit from the homeowners' association telling me to take it down). My only complaint is that it's wobbly.

Perfect for my semi-permanent install, went into the cold ground even with ice around it. Setup the poles and mounts in seconds. Ended up NOT using the supplied Dish/Starlink mounting plate as i had another mount i found easier to use. After the snow and ice Thaws i may test out the included dish mounting bracket when my fingers wont be numb. Recommend using some metal straps or stainless steel wire if the ground is slightly soft as the pole can move a little in heavy wind. Easily adjustable to multiple heights, defiantly a great item for temp or permanent mounting as its pretty stable as is. very happy with it.

There is no way to mount the Starlink dish. The last installation step says to tighten the M5*8 screws. There are no M5*8 screws. This thing is useless and I want a refund.

I don’t have Starlink, but I do have antennas and cellular routers—this pole is perfect for them. I honestly didn’t know you could stand up a 9-foot pole without tie-downs or scaffolding, but here we are. The design uses large threaded metal tubes, kind of like a carpet stretcher pole—solid, shiny, and not overly heavy. The real star is the auger ground anchor. The kit includes a heavy steel rod that you use as a handle to “drill” the anchor into the ground. At one point I thought I’d hit a rock, but with steady turns it pulled itself deeper. It bites a good foot into the ground, and once seated in firm soil it holds far better than expected. The pole segments appear to be chromed steel (the anchor is galvanized). The top plate looks like aluminum. Assembly is straightforward, but a few notes will save you frustration: * Don’t leave the driving rod in the auger after installing—getting it out is an adventure 🤣 * Point the crimped end of each pole segment downward; flat end goes up. * Back out the clamp screws almost all the way, then push the rod hard while screwing a bit—tolerances are tight, but once seated, the clamp screws only need to be turn in a small amount. * The antenna mount at the top is offset. Don’t fight physics trying to make the plate sit flat—it isn’t supposed to. My son and I had it assembled in about 20 minutes (we were distracted by lightsaber duels). Once you know the steps, you could go from trunk to satellite-ready in 10 minutes. I have seen other such poles that use tines at the bottom to hold the pole in place, or worse, a cinder block. Those don't work. This one, with the auger works remarkably well. The only thing I wasn't able to test is the fit of the mounting plate to the Starlink antenna. I used duct tape 😝 For the price, this is a strong, cleverly designed mount that holds steady without extra supports.
