I decided on the Stan Onnex Thumb release after trying out another brand's top of the line release. I really like the build quality and versatility of this release. It is very adjustable from the travel of the thumb barrel, sensitivity of the 'trigger' and to the orientation of the barrel. I also changed out from the 3 finger to the 4 finger with ease. Although not cheap, it is well worth the money due to the different things that are included. I also really like how the jaw can hook onto your D-loop during a hunt which makes it very functional.

The fit of the stan is good, id suggest going in and trying it out to know what size fits you best. Stan has always been a high end release. Love the click of the release. No vibration after the release. Adjustability is by far the best thats ive ever used. Being able to tilt the thumb is a huge deal for me. Not sure why other manufacturers dont do the same.

I did a serious research before spending $279 in a thumb release. I was shooting a regular index finger release for many years and I was happy with my Scott, but after reading several reviews I decided ro give this release a chance. I was not sure since it is a very expensive item but I purchased one and tried it. It is a pleasure. I fell in love with the solid and accurate feeling of this thing. It improves my anchor immediately. I felt it was worth it the extra $$$. Everything included in the box to adjust size, length, tension and even change from 3 to 4 fingers. Very nice product

The adjustments were impressive. I could adjust the trigger barrel and break to exactly where I needed it. Only negative is that the screw that adjusts the 3rd finger stripped out immediately. I might have a lemon screw but it’s held tight, just can’t change position again. Overall, release was good.
