  • Compact Cart
Color: Black Size: 180 lbs
This hand truck is strong enough to transport almost all daily items. It’s sturdy, easy to open and close, and made of good quality. It’s a useful product as well as compact when folded down. Happy with this foldable cart!

  • Works well for my intended use
Color: Black Gray Size: 220 lbs
I bought this to move 40lb bags of pellets for the pellet stove from the garage to the house. Three stairs to climb. Worked perfectly for this application. I only move one bag at a time so nowhere near the weight limit. Easy to pull up the stairs. Carrying these bags is awkward so this cart made the task much easier and safer. It folds up and doesn't take up much space and is light to carry. Easy to unfold the platform and wheels in one step. My back and shoulders are much happier. ... show more

  • Good product if used as intended.
Color: Black Size: 180 lbs
I am toting tools for my field service job. I wanted a small hand truck that would fit in the car, be out of the way on job sites, and carry 30-ish# of gear. Often I park a block or more from the building I'll be working in, and the walk can be over uneven, unpaved, or broken surfaces. After reading reviews of many products, I decided to take a chance on this one. I read the low-star ratings to find the weaknesses in a product. I'm reviewing this hand truck with those low ratings in mind. My first impression is that it is sturdy enough for my intended purpose. I would prefer it to be all metal -- the critical structure joining the platform, wheels, and handle are plastic. This plastic bit takes the pivoting force when you tilt the truck onto its wheels. It's a probable point of failure if not tilted carefully. I would prefer the wheels to be larger for uneven surfaces and stair climbing. And I would prefer the top of the handle to be a bit more offset. As is, a tall stack of stuff will interfere with my ability to grab the handle. My impression after using it, is that the tie downs are the (user-improvable) weak link, and that with the exception of possibly defective units being reviewed, the majority of complaints in 1 and 2-star ratings can be attributed to users with unreasonable expectations for weight and bulk limits, or improper deployment and use of the product. All that said, I think it's important to be smarter than the hand truck. Opening it is as easy as stepping on the top edge of the platform and pushing down with your foot. But it needs to be done correctly. As the platform drops and locks, the wheels are also moving into position. If you are sloppy with the step-and-push, the wheels get tangled in the ground. Fighting that can potentially break a wheel or the handle, so make sure the wheels are not interfered with as they swing. When opening the platform, keep the handle at its lowest position. This reduces the leverage on that plastic bit mentioned above. I can see where an extended handle could generate enough force to bend or break the plastic. Tilting the load from its upright position also has a proper method: Instead of levering the load back using the extended handle, simply hold the handle steady and push the bottom away from you with your foot on the back of the platform. Finally, the platform is large enough for the hand truck's design, but a load will not be stable without tie-downs. Uneven surfaces and stairs will defeat the supplied bungees every time; you don't really want to stabilize things with elastic. I made a set of tie-downs using 1" nylon webbing with a few inches of bungee at one end to cinch down against. My load is much more stable, and with the backpack-style quick releases I included, loading and unloading is fast and safe, with the tie-downs in adjustment to just clip them closed and go. Bottom line is that if you are smarter than the hand truck and replace the supplied bungees with something safer and sturdier, it will probably serve you well. If you can't get smarter than the deployment and operating requirements, or if you overload it, you'll probably break it and add to the 1-star ratings. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Love This Lil Guy!
Color: Black Size: 180 lbs
Great little compact dolly that folds up real easy and doesn't take up a lot of space. Granted, you probably aren't going to move mountains with it, but it's perfect for hauling around boxes and things. This little guy will help you avoid back aches and hernias.

  • Stair Climbing Cart Broke, Third Use
Color: Black Gray Size: 220 lbs
I ordered this item a couple of weeks ago and have used it three times to help bring 40 lb bags of birdseed into my home from my car. I had read the very good review by David P which advised care when opening/unfolding the hand cart so I tried to be extra careful but the third time I pushed down the bottom of the cart the wheels did not deploy fully. They did not roll properly nor did they climb stairs as they are meant to. After getting the bag of seed inside I examined the wheels, of which there are three on each side mounted between two 3-armed steel stampings which allow the wheels to rotate when going up or down stairs. This 3 armed wheel-holder rotates when going up or down a step. I saw that the 3-armed device on one side would not rotate because one of the arms was bent and mangled and was hitting the hand cart. It apparently became damaged when I was deploying the bottom of the handcart which also makes the wheels swing out into working position. I was surprised this happened because the 3-armed steel stampings which hold the wheels seem fairly heavy-duty and the force I applied with my foot when pushing down the bottom of the cart didn't seem great enough to cause these parts to bend so much. But apparently there is a lot of leverage in the deployment mechanism. I was able to bend the bent parts back with a pair of pliars to where the wheels can again rotate, and the cart otherwise worked quite well so I don't want to return it except as a last resort. But if I could get a replacement for the 3-wheeld assembly I'd be happy, as I don't know whether the wheel held by the mangled arm is secure despite my repair attempt. ... show more

  • Affordable and lightweight
Color: Black Size: 180 lbs
I strapped this to a portable washing machine for easy on/off from the pickup of my truck. Product serves my purpose with retractable handles. It is not rocket science solid and has loose points as all portable units probably do but within weight limits it should work well.
