We took a chance ordering this sink as there were only a few ratings., and are extremely satisfied. The sink was well packed in a sturdy shipping carton that arrived UPS with no damage. The finish on the sink is very smooth and it appears beautifully made. We coupled it with a third party faucet and under counter soap dispenser. This is a first time sink installation for us. The hardest part of installation was removing the old sink. We had to protect the countertop with a thin plastic cutting board and pound a putty knife under the sink rim to loosen the caulk holding the sink down. Perseverance paid off and we were able to lift it off. We did not have to change the countertop cutout, having measured to ensure that the new sink would fit before ordering. The installation instructions regarding the countertop clips took some figuring as their shape did not exactly match the instructions. We found that we could bend the long tab to match the angle of the short tab, insert the clip into the slot, and then further bend the long tab to keep the clip from falling off when we inverted the sink to dropl it into the countertop. We could only fit the side clips because there was not enough clearance in the front of our cutout and not the edge of the rear cutout did not stick out far enough to fasten the clips. But the clips are probably overkill because the silicone sealant securely holds the sink to the countertop. Because this sink is deeper than the old sink, we had to trim and replace one of the plastic waste pipe fittings and replace another. The included sink drain is well made and attractive, but we did not use it because we installed our Insinkerator garbage disposal in the drain cutout. The included rollable drain rack is only reason we awarded 4 stars instead of 5. We noticed a black residue coming off the rack when we initially cleaned it, and a week later we noticed more black on our sponge after cleaning. We wonder if maybe it is coated stainless steel instead of solid stainless. So we have ordered a different rollable rack that claims to be solid stainless steel for about $20. The usability of this sink deep single sink is much better than the old double sink that we replaced. The slope of the floor of the sink really works to empty almost all the water when it drains. The bottom rack is a nice addition to prevent scratches and provides enough clearance to wash down scraps into the disposal. This product is a great value and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
