Not sure what the other reviews were talking about, but I dont see any issues with it. Compared to other products like this, this one seems to be the most affordable. Love it! It's just what I needed. It's a quality piece that has already been ouyt to use. I will say that my bolts were missing from the box but Amazon made it right as it was obvious due to the size and weight of the item, that the box was damaged in transit and ripped open. Nothing was scratched or dented though. Love the height too. I needed something a little shorter than counter height since I'm short and kneeding dough was starting to wear on my shoulders. Perfect height for an ol' 5'5" gal. ((Without the wheels))

I would say it is an OK product but with that being said it is a good value for the money. The problem I had was in assembly and once assembled the set screws holding the self up had insufficient pressure to keep the shelf from slipping down. HOW THIS PROBLEM WAS SOLVED. So using blacks of wood of of the same length, I propped up the shelf off the floor. I tightened the set screws as tight as I could and then further supported the shelf with stainless steel automotive radiator hose clamp below the shelf which provided additional support and again tightening the hose clamps as tight as I could. To improve aesthetics by placing the screw and worm gear under the table. THE ACTUAL ASSEMBLY. I found that it was easier to put the table together by placing the table top upside down on the floor and place the poles in the round slots of the table. With the set screws in place but not tightened, I placed the hose clamps to the same position on each pole where the top of the shelf was to be placed (that is, for each leg, the top of the shelf will be at the same distance from the floor) and carefully slid the shelf, top side, with the legs passing through the shelf holes. With the top of the shelf held in place and being supported by the hose clamps, I tightened each of the four sets screws that keep table top securely in place and did the same for the four screws that hold the shelf in place. With the set screws supporting the shelf, I removed the hose clamps on each legs thus enabling the set screws to support the shelf on its own. I then reinstalled the hose clamps underneath the shelf top and placed each hose clamp on the pole underneath the shelf and tightened the clamp securely in place. When te table is placed right side up, for each poled both the set screws and the hose clamp provide maximum support under load. Note again that the worm gear of the hose clamps were positioned under the shelf to prevent them from being seen from the outside. At this point, the table was placed right side up. The next step is to purchase wheels for the table to make it mobile and thus making it more portable. Final note. By assembling the table upside down, the set screws were much easier to access and the legs were more flexible and easier to maneuver and align with the shelf holes (and not bind) while dropping the shelf down the poles to the hose clamps.

Esta mesa me encantó. La estructura es de acero, se siente bien robusta y no se tambalea nada. El armado fue sencillo, en pocos pasos, y quedó firme. It's a solid table but the one I got was dinged up and I dislike the way the legs are connected to the table and shelf. They just use "set screws" (known in Britain as "grub screws"). The screw into the support tubes and just hold on to the leg via friction (plus, I guess, putting a dent in the leg). I'm going to get some sheet metal screws and put one into each leg to hold the shelf in place. Not such a problem for the top, except maybe for top coming right off the legs if you tried to pick it up. But, if you just need a plain, steel table for the lowest price, this one is it. Provided you don't put anything heavy on the shelf without taking the appropriate steps to secure the shelf. BTW - you can't do without the shelf. There's nothing else holding the legs in place, like cross braces or something. Without the shelf, you could easily collapse the whole table if one of the legs got hit by something.
