After having paid many times to have car keys unlocked (I have a big family with lots of drivers), I finally decided to pull the trigger and get myself a set of tools that I could use to not only pull up trim and work on my own vehicles, but have something to unlock my own doors instead of paying the high prices. I have to say that this tool kit works pretty well and offers a wonderful variety of tools for many of your vehicle modification needs. Just today I use it to peel up the trim to install an under seat subwoofer. The price point is pretty affordable and the tools themselves seem to be decent enough quality to last for years while taking care of. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and I’m glad I picked them up

NOTE: Receiving this Product for free (as part of Amazon review program) in no way influenced this review, which comprises my unbiased, independent evaluation of Product, based upon actual use. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I read the description of "Repair Tools" but one look and I instantly recognized this as a set of tools that I've seen locksmiths use to get into locked cars. There's not much to it, but the inflatable bags are good quality. I tested one on the door of an old Toyota Tacoma, and with just a few easy squeezes on the bulb pump, the door frame separated from the Truck's body just enough to insert one of the included wedges. The air released easily with a twist of a valve (made of plastic, but durable enough). The wedge and pry tools are ABS plastic which shouldn't snap unless under inappropriately high load. The Wedge is strong enough to hold a gap open on a closed door, but the few pry tools I tested flexed as leverage was applied, thereby limiting their useability. The lasso tool is awesome and easy to manipulate. The rope is thin gauge wire which is durable enough to handle any car entry requirements. It's a bit tricky to maneuver at first, at no fault of the tool, but getting the hang of it is pretty easy. This would be a great tool to fit into a door gap or window that's left cracked open to snag keys left on the seat. On older cars, I imagine something like this was used after a little space was created at the window to loop onto the old style plunger door locks. Granted, these days most cars won't allow you to lock them with the keys inside, but the tool is handy for other tasks that require grabbing something out of reach, that perhaps cannot be recovered by magnet or those finicky squeeze grabbers. Lastly, there are a set of rods that can be assembled in various ways to form different angles. Again, these would be handy for grabbing keys left in the open, but really would be valuable to pull a handle or depressing an automatic lock button. Although made of metal and rigid, there's nothing fancy about these rods, and they're very basic - but functional for intended use. I'm not sure how handy these would be nowadays, but for older model cars, this set would save an expensive call to the locksmith. I suppose a AAA membership would be just as effective and offer more benefits, but for mechanics, tow operators, yard and fleet managers, and the like, probably not a bad idea to keep a set of these tools around to save money and time.

Absolute crap do not ever buy a collapsible rod because they're junk they unscrew while you're using them they break at the connection points by a solid 5 ft rod that you can bend repeatedly but everything else in the kit works fine

As a DIYer who frequently works on my own vehicles, I found this tool set to be a rugged and versatile addition to my garage. The stainless steel construction feels incredibly sturdy because it is strong enough to handle tension without bending, which is a common issue with cheaper kits. Got this kit for home use as there has been a issue with my car where it locks on its own sometimes, and after having my keys locked in twice while I was warming up my car I no longer have to worry about this as now I can use this kit to got my car door unlocked without having to call a tow truck/service. Top this with the ability to easily fix dents as well as the tool to pop off my door panel with ease this is a nice purchase that is good for any car owner to have in the garage, especially if you have teen drivers in your house.

For the price, you can't beat it. All the tools are nicely made and seem pretty heavy duty. The plastic tab removers are just firm enough to allow you to push them without folding and soft enough to give a little to prevent damage. The extended arm setup is very nice. The rods are solid and sturdy and can be extended a very long ways. The two metal fastener removers are wellade and smooth as well as very rigid. Overall a really good kit.

Good dent puller kit for beginners, I was hoping that it came with some instructions, which it did not. But overall still a great value for the money. It is a big kit, and look to have everything I would need. I already have used it to knock a dent on my trunk back out. I wish that it came with instructions.
