This was my second time getting this tool. I gave up on it that first time but my previous reaction was definitely user error 😅 I figured out how to use it and it worked out great. I used the largest round to create the sticks for the rainbow. I thought they would be too skinny but they turned out great in my opinion.

Great Choice!

Great Choice! This is SO much easier than the plunger/syringe version. I will say that (60+ y/o here) that I formed a ball from polymer clay. Fit it to one end of the handle then baked it separately. I reattached it to one side with super glue. It makes such a difference for me!

Don't waste your money!

Used this 3 times on SOFT fondant and clay. Broke after the 3rd time. The top locking piece kept popping off when I would twist the bar to extrude the clay. Absolute garbage. Don't recommend at all. You get what you pay for, I suppose. Ordered a really nice pricier one. We shall see how that goes!

Great for fondant

This was a great I used it when I made an electric guitar for my grandson‘s birthday. I needed to make strings that was a hot mess so I used this clay extruder and it worked amazing. The only thing was it didn’t have a real tiny one for the smallest string so I did a longer thin one and then just rolled it with my hand and it came out perfectly. The guitar was amazing I have had so many comments on this cake and it’s all due to items from Amazon.

Best, easiest extruder

I have bought this several times. I work with polymer clay and this is the best, easiest extruder by far. I use the different colors of tube to identify what color of clay is inside, spray painting them where necessary. I'm going to get another to make cookies with and to use with frosting.

Broke after one use

I used this fine the first time with polymer clay to make earrings. It wasn't easy to use as it was very hard to turn and squish the clay out. I specifically bought it because some of the reviews said they used it for clay. Then the second time the turn piece came detached from the glued part that helps. Now I cant get it to stay on and is unusable. This would be ok for icing and cake decorating but not for clay craft. :(
