I have bought this several times. I work with polymer clay and this is the best, easiest extruder by far. I use the different colors of tube to identify what color of clay is inside, spray painting them where necessary. I'm going to get another to make cookies with and to use with frosting.

This is a pretty good extruder. It's easy to clean and easy to use. The quality is decent. It's very small. I personally have only used it for extruding clay for various ceramic projects, so I can't say if it's good for baking, but I imagine the experience is very similar. I didn't want to break down and spend $20 on an extruder not knowing if I would really use it for my clay projects or not and I found this one and the price was decent. It arrived quickly and it works, but has some problems. First off, the metal discs with patterns are great, but almost every one arrived bent up so I am not getting an even press out ony clay. Secondly, the clay comes out okay for the ones I've used so far, but some part of the extruder is obviously scraping because I keep finding metal shavings on my clay after I press it out. So.......price was good, product was okay, but be prepared to have to mess extra with your clay to clean it up after using the extruder. ... show more
