I like this gun because it can be used multiple times but if I just needed to pierce one set of ears I would go with the disposable piercers instead. This does make a loud clicking noise which can be scary. I took off one star because the marking pen was busted upon delivery. I used it to pierce my niece's second holes and it was easy to use and she said it didn't hurt. ... show more

It was very easy to figure out how to use. We used it 6 times in a row - The gun got stuck on the 2nd piercing but easily came out after uncocking. Good gun at a great value!

I liked that the piercing stud went all the way through one time. The metal studs are hypoallergenic. The gun is easy to clean. I did not like that the earring backs don't always attach as designed, and that there is no precise way to line up the post to land where you're aiming. Nor did I like that I had to push the stud through the skin on the back of my ear 3 of the 4 times I used it. I adjusted the tool as described in the directions, it didn't seem to make any difference in functionality. You get what you pay for, 🤷🏼♀️ ... show more
